"in the restaurant we have traveled to find that we were the only a few people. would have taken this as an early sign of the things that should come. we ordered several dishes .the sashimi was fresh, but very bland. other dishes such as tempura prawns .gyoza lacked any real taste. the following chicken meat dishes were overlooked and not frissable. the reis tacky and looked like he had been warmed over and over. When he grew up with the waiter, he was not interested. overall very disappointing. I would never come back here."

Good value for money. The room is a little dark, just a passageway.

Was desperate for sushi after traveling through Europe for six weeks. Toya was fresh and had reasonably good selection. Waiter was helpful.

Service and sushi are very good. I have been going regularly to this restaurant for 10 years and the service does not vary. I recommend this restaurant for sushi and calm lovers.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
