Trattoria Rocco - Piatti

"already at the beginning of 2013 the Trattoria-Rocco opened in halstenbek, but I could only visit the restaurant after half a year, although I went by daily and the red luminescence stimulated me to visit. I also saw more cars standing in front of the place, almost every night it was full here, and I said to myself sometime, but now they have to go to eat there. on a lukewarm summer evening it was finally finished. I had a good friend I said she was going in and looking for a nice place for us. I couldn't see if I came out of the office in time for my work, and so I was late – but only light – and then I came to rocco at 19 o'clock. I found my friend sitting outside, looking at prosecco, laughing. On the outside, it does not mean, in front of the place, but in the rear in a quite large outer area, which one would not have suspected from the front. there were 15-20 tables, some sunshades protected by the walls of the place and a house behind it as well as a fence to the neighboring house. although it was not very green here, it was very lasy. I had hardly greeted her and put me to her, came a waiter and brought me a prosecco and a little brot and a kind of garlic cream as a greeting from the kitchen. he brought the menus for us, but as it is with girls who haven't seen each other for a long time, we have tasted more intensively and left us time. we didn't have much to eat anyway, rather bite. I was just looking for a tomato soup, my friend ordered a lasagne. we both ordered cola. then we looked around a little and let the atmosphere work on us. it was almost every table occupied with people of every age, even small and larger children were there. the mood was good and relaxed. the service was fast and very friendly, but also a little non-binding. then it came to eat. my tomato soup was garnished with a clip-saw, the lasagne came very hot in a small square shape. the cola was pretty cold. the taste of the tomato soup was ok, could have been a bit more tomato. my friend was very happy with her lasagne. after an espresso we left the trattoria again, sat and satisfied. we had enjoyed the night here well. it took another 3 months to get back here. again I had an appointment with a friend, and by chance I saw that the lights also lit, a note that this is open today. the day was always a rest day, but it should be open today and on the following Tuesdays in December. We have to have a wife, so we're back here. sitting outside was naturally too cold, and so I really realized the space of the trattoria. that is to say, only the room in front, as we had the pleasure to get the comfortable sofa directly at the window. the room is large and extends over the entire length of the restaurant. front, i.e. opposite the street, is a large glass front, and the tables that stand there, and which are occupied by the guests, are so to speak the window of the trattoria rocco. on the left side of the room is the long step where 1-2 service forces have always been turned around. at the end of the room goes into the outside area. the walls are in a bright tone, interrupted by dark wood beams. everything is rustic, including small holotensiles, hanging on the walls, and also the heights could stand in a kitchen. the tables are covered with white tablecloths, the small two tables stand directly on the longitudinal wall, the larger tables are arranged in the middle of the room one behind the other. in the front area near the window are some special table variants, also a round table is included. the lighting is quite economical, but for me it was okay. it was early in the evening and not known that today is open. So it was empty. hardly we had set ourselves, someone came from the service with 2 glasses prosecco, the well-known brot Basket and the menus. we were welcomed very friendly, and then immediately began to study the menus. this time it should be a little more than just a little bit. we ordered both a pasta dishes, the tagliatelle dello cook (band nudeln mit mascarpone, kastanien, sampi and cream sauce) for 9,50 €, simply because it sounded delicious. I drank cola light, 0.4 l for 3,50 €. the food came after about 15 minutes, was hot and was optically well dressed. tastefully it was solid, there were 3 scampis on the teller and sufficient many chestnuts. we were quite tired as the saw and mascara sauce were very rich and saturating. but we still ate everything. the part was of the size in order, but could be even more generous. I had to go to the toilet in between, which is in the back. they have to go through the large dining room and then come through a smaller room they do not see directly from the front because hidden behind the tresen. the toilets are very clean and well maintained. my friend and I were always happy, both of us tasted good, and we had a really nice evening. the staff had not too much to do and was very attentive. after the payment we were still a little before the door and went away in the gun. then rocco came out personally and tasted one more, because with us and us something about the locals told. he said he had problems with the service first, but that he now has a good crew together and it's going much better. for tonight I can confirm the definitiw and last week I was back at rocco, this time on a Sunday evening. I went with a good friend in the forest, and we both had a great hunger. spontaneously we then returned to the trattoria, sat on a two-sided wall and were welcomed as if I had the colors before with prosecco and the basket. we looked a little rustic, but it wasn't a problem at all. after the order I chose tomatensuppe for 4 € (which this time super tasted) and pappardelle all’ anatra (extra wide nudels with tomatensauce, sawne, cognac and duckbrust) for 9,50 € and my guide chose totecca reggio emilia (rumpsteak with parmaschinken, green pfeffercola, white 50 € we ordered white the service was flash, the suppe came after good 5 minutes. she was like the first time, so ok, but not overwhelming, but I love tomato soup and always eat it at the Italian. my guidance and I kept us while in the common it was always full, and there were many families with children. I observed that they were all greeted to the most cordial and very personally and received a table request. also 1-2 people waited for their command. it became more and more loud in the trattoria, more and more tables were occupied, many people spoke, many children were there, but we were very intense and did not take the loudness negatiw, although it was very stubborn. for a romantic rendevous it would not be so suitable, I think. larger groups can be accommodated here without problems, in the rear somewhat smaller room I have seen, sitting a group of good 10 people on one of my visits. Conclusion: a nice local in my neighbourhood where they can go well and just spend a nice evening. I thought it was fed, certainly not a tip kitchen, but also not salted or otherwise misguided. next opportunity I will try other dishes, for example pizza. I also liked the Italian hospitality, although the service should wait a two minute until it brings the prosecco and the basket to the table. at least I want to take off the jacket and lie down. I'm evaluating myself with 4 stars because I feel that rocco and his team want to do everything well and give themselves a lot of effort. at the end, some things are not perfect or optimal, but for me it matters whether I feel comfortable and I do, while I can say that the roko has become something like my predecessor. I don't live so far away and can go to the foot, and sometimes I just eat a little, and nobody looks funny. the crew is really good now, they are on zack, funny and friendly."
