Turtle Bean - Piatti

We went for breakfast and had their eggs Benedict and coffee and tea. The service was excellent, the setting was attractive, and the food was yummy. We would go back again.

We had a great time here, so much so that I still think about it a month later to write a review. More than enough food on the plate, great atmosphere and very friendly staff

Have visited here 5/6 times in the last year. Fantastic breakfast/brunch every time. Freshly cooked very tasty. Good idea to book table as incredibly busy at weekends. Staff are attentive and seem to enjoy what they do. They are also very flexible with changing an item or two to suit. Portion size is good and price point competitive. Highly Recommended.

Just popped in to see if they could accommodate the two of us as reviews really good, two members of staff walked right past me without even a smile, let alone asking me how they could help, or let me know that someone would be with me! I felt invisible so walked out. I've genuinely never had that experience before, staff probably require customer service training.

We visited on a Saturday morning and were warmly welcomed by one of the ladies. Our breakfasts were all really nice, good quality ingredients and generous portions especially the use of bacon which we had in a bacon sandwich and with pancakes. My only niggle, and reason for not giving 5 stars is that the prices in the cafe were a fair bit higher than on their website. This was our go to for a decent breakfast after our last visit was disappointing in October we thought we would give it another go today , reserved a table arrived promptly to wait 45 minutes for what can only be described as well done nuked food totally burnt and Rock hard, after the lady come over to the table she could see the food was not good and should not have left the kitchen, we then waited a further 15-20 minutes before having to leave disappointed, currently sat in another cafe in Petersfield drinking and eating a freshly cooked breakfast. Second visit to The Turtle Bean recently, such lovely staff and food. The ladies are so friendly. They certainly cheer up a dreary winter day. Love the specials and the quality of the food is great. I wish I could make poached eggs like that! The choice on the menu is lovely, fresh and nicely presented. I have a real taste for high quality food and coffee, I thought I would give this coffee shop a jump and what an instant surprise it was. first, when they arrive their first impressions are from a warm reception in a relaxed and qualitative atmosphere, but the proof is in the tasting. the coffee was prepared on a very unusual coffee machine, no electric pumps everywhere look straight through printing and pulling down a lever similar to a pub if they might order a local brewery.
