"We drive past this place almost daily and have often commented about trying it! We are due to go on our third holiday to Thailand in six weeks so decided to visit to get us in the mood! My god we’re so glad we did!...The restaurant is run by a lovely couple and the wife is native Thai and did all the cooking. What I loved is that when we ordered he checked with us the spice level we wanted. We had delicious Thai prawn crackers which the owner didn’t charge us for because they were a little broken, chicken spring rolls, spare ribs, beef massaman curry, chicken with chilli and Thai basil, egg fried rice and noodles. Every mouthful was fantastic and the portions so big we couldn’t finish looking forward to finishing the left overs later! The service was fantastic. The owners daughter was in the restaurant and was so lovely and polite, drawing us pictures and teaching us to count to ten in Thai! All in all this is an amazing little gem. I’ve recently eaten at a chain Thai restaurant in Manchester and the food was three times the price and not a patch on the food here!! We will definitely be back!"

fantastic eating, exactly what is needed here, I have to take it, and I can honestly say I am horrified, I have not ordered anymore, because it was wonderful food and I would like to have eaten it cold tomorrow

here a couple of times, tried something else larb, too spicy over spiced, the Thai salat was iceberg salat with carrot looked like a package salat bag smashed! the muddles completely lack taste! the duck curry on the other side was delicious.

What a lovely little place! Had their Thai green curry and boy were the portions decent! The curry packed a punch and was full of bamboo shoots, green beans and courgettes. It's always nice when a restaurant caters the spicy level to your liking! Will...definitely return Visualizza piatti

My husband I had such a fabulous meal on July we went back on the July and decided to have starters as well as the main dish, we were not disappointed. Food was fantastic, hot and plentiful, the staff were friendly ..obliging. We have eaten in Thailand and the authentic flavours of the lovely dishes took us back in time. Keep up the good work, will be back the next time we visit Bury. Lovely touch that we could bring our own wine. Excellent value, highly recommend.

We visited Manchester from Leicester to see friends. We were welcomed by Steve who was very friendly. Food was authentic, delicious and fresh just like what I’ve eaten when visiting Thailand. It’s a family run business and you could tell because the food was fantastic...and Steve was very passionate about Thailand and also Manchester. He happily gave us recommendations of where to visit. You get to choose the heat of your dish. A Thai curry can be as mild as you like or heated up to how the Thai locals would eat it. Would definitely visit again! They even do takeaway! we really loved thai, but didn't want to wander to some place to send. we arrived and the restaurant is absolutely tiny in the inner and saw a little rough around the edges. we looked at each other and thought. we ordered...our starter: tom kha and tom y suppume. absolutely amazing. so delicious and lots of fresh tasting meeresfruit in it. we ordered both basilikum and chili stir fry (mixed chicken/pork/bef between us) and coco rice plus noodles. eating was fantastic, we couldn't blame it at all. at the end we had both empty plates. the personal is friendly and if we have Thai pleasure again, we would definitely go back. only one note if they want alcohol, they have to take themselves. stars...

We hadn’t been here since new management took over and the name changed. The previous owners left big shoes to fill, thankfully we were not disappointed. A large party had been in before us and we were contacted to ask if we minded coming a...little bit later. This was fine as we went for a drink and I think it was good customer service to check with us, so that they didn’t need to rush the big group. I ordered tofu and as this had run out, the owner popped to the shops to get some to make sure that I got my first choice. The service was very friendly and our food was delicious, so we will definitely be back and I hope that others support the restaurant. There isn’t much in Radcliffe town ce...

"Well, it 's been a while since I 've reviewed a place but this little gem has certainly reawakened my vigour for it. Visited this evening as a kind of belated birthday celebration with my husband and son and very glad we did indeed. We happened upon this place a few weeks back (passing by and grabbing a cocktail after the days plans fell through and instantly took to the place and it 's wonderful staff and from the off had intentions to visit again an so finally did tonight), within seconds of seating ourself at the bar we were remembered by the owners, which to me shows great calibre on the customer service front. As someone with an exceptionally sweet tooth when it comes to alcohol it was our lucky day to find they had cocktails on 2for£10 and hell can the owner Jo mix like a minx (even doing us an off menu blend to account for tastes). The husband not being a big drinker happily sat at the bar chatting with staff and customers nursing his Peroni whilst me and my son dived headlong into the extensive classical and modern mixed cocktail list. Having been lured into great expectations (previously sampling delicious tasters) from Jo 's lovely husband Dave on our first brief visit we were definitely eagerly placed to dive into dinner tonight. Our lovely waitress Sian, stood patiently while we chopped and changed idea 's and orders, laughed with us, checked regularly everything was to our tastes as did the other young waitress that dropped drinks over to us. Both girls portraying the perfect mix of friendly and professional, a refreshing change to be served by people that clearly enjoy their working environment. And on to the food... we started with olives (and boy was it a substantial portion in comparison with some establishments weak efforts), hubby was first in there, impressed with the quality of marinade (too many places these days forget the little efforts like this thinking folk can 't differentiate something tipped out of a supermarket packet). After much debate (I had my eye on far too many dishes) choices were made, Hubby had the Filo Kefta, which had a light pastry, adequate spice and smoothly complimentary dip, for main he went with the day 's Special of Lamb with fondant potato, heritage carrots and a divinely velvety Jus which he thoroughly enjoyed (and he 's hard to please, being well versed himself and making a point of getting the lovely Chef Darren a glass of wine in appreciation). The lad had a Sirloin steak burger cooked medium rare and is now demanding we visit again soon. lol I went with the Gravlax to start, instantly aware of the clean flavour from its curing cutting through (I even brought a titbit home for my kitty to enjoy), as for main, I 'd initially had my mind on fish but upon discovering the owner Jo was also a blue steak lover I had to try one there and wow they really take care in choosing their suppliers because that was an A grade cut of meat, even my son (who prefers medium-rare) upon trying a slice said it was an exceptional piece of meat I had it with asparagus, no sauce and swapped out the chips for a feta/pepper bowl which worked perfectly as did the glass of Shiraz that Jo picked out to compliment it for me. Genuinely I can not pick fault (read through my other reviews I write honestly, pick fault where warranted and compliment where due). Had this lovely little find been in our usual local it would surely become a regular haunt ours for sure. I would 100% recommend this place and extend our gratitude to all the staff for making our entire visit memorable and perfect."

"We were in Bury for a few days visiting family and the weather was beautiful , we live on the Wirral and frequently visit Brasco lounge in Liverpool of the same chain , which we love. We actually visited Racconto lounge 3 times on our visit , first time we had a brunch of bacon and egg muffin , which we really enjoyed (although the bacon was very salty) The next day we came back and had a lounge breakfast , and the following day we brought my husbands mum , and drank cups of tea while resting from shopping . We enjoyed all the meals , and its lovely inside , although we ate on the terrace in the sunshine and we found all the staff very pleasant and friendly . But..... we had 2 things let it down for us . Firstly on each occasion , the service was extremely slow, when we had breakfast , it wasn't very busy , but we waited ages , although our tea was brought out well before the food , meaning we then had no drinks to go with the food . The second problem was , after waiting ages , we had to send the breakfast back as it was really cold , and it seemed like it had been sat waiting , almost as long as we had , the bacon on both the breakfast muffin and the breakfast was really , really salty also. None of this would put us off , as we enjoyed the dining experience overall , but if you are in a rush , i really wouldn't recommend eating here , as the wait was alot longer than expected every time ."
