"there are many restaurants in berlin that serve meat, but there does not seem to be many who serve qualitatiw high quality vegetarian dishes. arable is one that has many possibilities for the vegetarian. during our visit was the star which was available in a suppe, an salat and a main course with fishing. I ordered the latter. two pieces of fish were served besides sparingly with brown butter and cooked potato. my man ordered a hamburger who was good. the wine and beer menu had many good choices and we had no difficulty tapping water, something of the restaurants are unwilling to serve. the service was excellent prompt, professional, very friendly and spoke English. umspannwerk ost is a bit off the beaten path approx. 30 minutes from the potsdamer place where we were, but it was worth the trip. I recommend this restaurant."

the place is beautiful and cozy furnished. it was a really good option for a group! we loved the vegetarian options and desserts.

This nice restaurant was near our hotel NH Alexanderplatz, we found it accidentally and were nicely surprised. We liked the idea of open kitchen where we could see how they preparing our duck and pork. Quality of food was really good.

this place has kept its factory feeling that gives a beautiful ambiente. we sat in the upper floor, so we had a nice view. service is fast, efficient and comes with a smile. that was delicious. do not miss the desserts; they are housed in a definitiw.

An old electricity factory turned into an restaurant gives a special atmosphere to this restaurant. In connection to the restaurant there is a theatre as well. Just off Karl Marx Allee. Food is tasty German, the potato soup was delicious and a bit sour in...correct way. Pork with Rosemarie potatoes and kraut was delicious.

We were recommended this restaurant for our first night in Berlin by our hotel reception staff it's a short walk) and it did not disappoint! Food very tasty and pleasant, friendly service. Drinks a bit slow served after the food)? But building is...historic and atmospheric. Best mushroom soup! my teenage son pronounced ! and and the spicy pork fillets, the venison goulash and Argentinian steak were all sampled and delicious. Big portions too or is that typische Germany for you?! Bill was about 25£ per head with starters and beers/wine. Good value for an upmarket in a capital city! And the Prosecco very reasonable ! Would be happy to return with friends!
