"This family run restaurant delivers in both the food and service fronts. The food is excellent, authentic and served promptly. we ordered a selection of the small plates, all which were excellent. The food was perfectly cooked and delivered quickly by a very friendly front house staff.One of our party also had the Banh Mi, which again was fantastic, and probably the most legit Banh Mi This have seen in the U.K. My personal favourite is the Papaya Salad, better than I’ve had anywhere in the U.K or Vietnam. The service was personal, warm and friendly and I cannot compliment the staff enough for making the experience at Viet Quan memorable. This was our first visit to the Viet Quan it certainly will not be our last."

Loved this place, intimate and personal with amazing authentic Vietnamese food. Perfect for a casual dinner or a date and even better that it’s run by a local family. Must visit.

Stumbled across this lovely little restaurant whilst walking round Portsmouth and were drawn in by the cosy welcoming atmosphere. Waiters were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and overall experience was fab. Would definitely recommend.

DELICIOUS! Quick service, we all had mains and sides, noodles, marinated meats, rice, spring rolls. Everything was awesome, tasty, cooked to perfection. And we had a show to see, the service was super quick. Beautiful Asian food, the honey chicken was our fave. We will be back!

This is the place to go if you’re looking for something light but tasty and it doesn’t cost an arm a leg! Will definitely be returning with some friends.
