"I celebrated my birthday in this beautiful and athmospheric place in the very center of Göttingen. We were circa people and they managed to give us a whole table to ourselves. The service was perfect, our waitress was super nice to us and helped...us with our requests during the whole evening. They warned us that we could have waited kind of long for our cocktails to come, but they were actually pretty fast, although the place was packed, being it a saturday. They even managed to bring different set of personalized shots, making us pay a really low price compared to what we got! The place itself is really beautiful, the background music is not too loud and you can easily have a chat and relax"

The garter is nice and cosy. Shadow on a hot day. Food is average. Staff friendly. The inside bar is nicely decorated with a very nice atmosphere! Would love to come back and try their Cuban drinks. Family friendly place

Great cocktails! I think it’s a great place to go when your main focus is on the cocktails and not in the dining itself. The food is nice, though. I ordered paella, which it wasn’t really the traditional paella but still was very tasty and...I recommend it

Were here with a group of work colleagues after a big running event in the city. problems: A Waited for subaverage food for more than B totally mixed up and forgotten orders and C worst of all different dishes using exactly same premade...probably purchased as finished exgernally sauce. Terrible restaurant, will never come here with the company and scratch these guys off our corporate list of venues

This is an excellent Cuban themed restaurant, the decor is fantastically authentic and gives a relaxed friendly feel to the restaurant. The food was not just good but stunningly good, the first bite stopped me in my tracks it was wonderful. The staff were very...friendly and very efficient. The beer was brewed in the owners micro brewery a short distance away. A am a big fan of real ale, the IPA that I had here was undoubtedly the best beer I have ever tasted on the European mainland with undertones of grapefruit, beware it is If you are anywhere near Gottingen take a detour to visit this restaurant, it is fanastic
