"Finally a new restaurant that deserves to come and give its opinion on Tripadvisor. We first discovered the excellent turn of hand to make mellow homemade pizza at the first entrance. real pizza very scented by bouquets of condiments, anchovies and olive oil and real cheese. for my second entry based on an excellent fish terrine garnished salad. follow for me a wolf with a scented sauce with small vegetables. Finally, a real creamy shotamisu to wish, nothing to do with the last 100 guys of the same defrosted type that I was able to swallow in different restaurants that I wouldn't quote here. here nothing but 100% house kitchen and it even reconciled me with the tiramisu. aperitating the kir and then the red wine pot of the super boss. Excellent coffee. In short, we spent a wonderful evening in a room apart in the backyard of the restaurant for small groups of about thirty guests as if we received his friends at home in his living room. I strongly recommend this restaurant recently taken over by a large Lyon restaurant that has been serving tens of years in the peninsula of lyon. his former accustomed will recognize him only to the intact quality of his kitchen transferred to this new lyon site in Villeurbanne. Well, the trap was to resist not taking too many pizza in the first entry to finish the dessert at the end of the meal. In short, we came out super-seated and all this for much less than 30 euros per convive drink and coffee included. I even sausage the wolf's plate, they say it's not good but when it's good it's good"

What was our deception when we saw our miniature pizza arrive. The filling is not at the height of a pizzeria. Pizza without taste is a shame. The price quality ratio has deteriorated well.

elio alias carlo, at carlo is back...This is all good especially pizzas that are excellent but also all Italian dishes. Meat is also very good. There's a lot of carlo's inhabitants, namely, friends...to do and do again.

I loved carlo in the peninsula I love this very place cuisto and a beautiful terrace in summer a delight that has an end because the restaurant is closed work? Demolition of the building? change of address? For now it's a mystery... to follow

Is it really an Italian restaurant? Salad composed insipid (mozzarella rubbery and tasteless, charcuterie that has nothing Italian, olive oil fade.) and what to say of the waitress who, at the time of the order of the wine, had never heard of the chianti classico? at a price not especially low!

for lovers of well-made things and tradition: a pizza dough cooked with homemade wood fire. a homemade tomato sauce. a quality trim... honest prices. A simple menu without a chichi or extravagance in the recipes offered: better pizza "sauce barbecue lardons raclette merguez", you will find simplicity! For us the best pizza in the neighborhood.Bravo!

accompanied by my daughter, we chose this Italian restaurant at random. She chose a calzone and I chose an elio pizza. We were not disappointed by our dishes that we found good. The service is fast. The person who seems to be the boss is nice but a server a little colder. the map is large enough for everyone to find something to please. desserts are quite simply served but remain good (caramel cream - chocolate melting.) the room is not very big what makes it noisy but it is a bit the atmosphere of the Italian ! in conclusion, not essential but I recommend it anyway.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
