Unfortunately, the Village has discontinued its Sunday carvery, which was fantastic. It seems they lost some customers today because of it.

Great for Saturday lunch. Good sports coverage. Somethings happened to the burgers. Were good on previous visit. Fish and CIOs were good. Staff were friendly, service levels weren’t great. Will visit again.

food was terrible. Waiter was excellent. Room was quite cold. Kids eat free and I’m a member so got 25% off. Wouldn’t visit again for the Sunday lunch, service by joe I think) was best service ive seen in a long time. The regular menu is fine, not great quality, but a vast improvement on the Sunday lunch

Food was outstanding and the range of items from starters through to dessert was fantastic. Waiter service was exceptional, very attentive without being always in your face. If I had to put any negative it would be the chef was not around much for carving which was a shame, more thought needs to be put into that side of things.

We received excellent service from Joe, who was very attentive and helpful. We had two children under 18 months with us, and that was no issue at all. The food was tasty, though it could have been served hotter. Additionally, the appetizers and desserts should be covered, as there were quite a few small black flies around. The chef was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

After returning to our table, we waited for about ten minutes before we had to flag down a staff member to take our drink orders. Once our drinks arrived, we were asked for our meal choices. To our disappointment, we discovered that the Sunday roast, which we intended to order, was completely sold out. It would have been helpful to know this before we ordered drinks. We found nothing else on the menu appealing, so we decided to just pay for our drinks instead. The mini 'graze' starters that we sampled were complimentary, which suggests that there might not be a chargeable option for the starters table.
