Can’t believe I got the best wagamama in town, you mush try their duck gyoza thats the best duck I’ve ever tried. The duck is so tender and yummi. I kept dreaming about it.

I have enjoyed food at most of the London Wagamamas, so todays experience was surprising. Chilli chicken ramen was disappointing as the broth tasted like tomato water with chilli. Duck gyoza was good. Chicken prawn pad thai was ok. Best dish was the beef hirata buns.

The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of appetizers and desserts. Their vegan menu is impressive, although there is only one option that is gluten free and vegan. The staff takes allergies seriously, with orders being taken only by the manager. They also provide a separate wok and kitchen space dedicated to preparing allergen-free dishes. Good food, wouldn’t recommend the Vegatsu; fairly dry all round and no veg alongside it apart from salad. The waiter forgot my order, so I was sitting around waiting for 30/40 mins until I realised the waiter hasn’t put it through. We did have an accident with one of the glasses and the staff were very kind to have dealt with it quickly and efficiently! Overall positive experience. Would recommend the squid balls, and the veggie bao buns!

I don’t normally bother writing reviews but this Wagas deserves some recognition! The lovely Rach was our waitress, she was sweet and kind, making us feel very welcome on Saturday lunchtime. My mum is gluten free and she was given a menu with lots of choices, the manager came and took the order, this made us feel reassured that everything would be GF- she even said the head chef would cook the GF meal! Brilliant allergy/ intolerance awareness and service without being treated as a hassle. Great work Wagamama New St

I went to this wagamama on Tuesday and ordered chicken and it came looking a bit pink and when I told the waiter about it they took it back to the cook and came back and said it’s thoroughly cooked it just was more pink and closer to the thigh. They assured me it would be fine to eat but asked if I wanted another but since they assured it wasn’t undercooked I ate it anyways. I got terrible food poisoning and it couldn’t have been from anything else since that’s the only thing my boyfriend didn’t eat and he wasn’t sick, I’ve been still in recovery from food poisoning and very ill so there must’ve been something wrong with the chicken.
