"we were in the old melt on Friday night 14.09. my wife has reserved us a table there when friends gave us the tipp to eat there. the restaurant is stylishly furnished, but at the chairs already the tooth of time. the garden is beautifully landscaped, the tables and chairs are all on the shave. Unfortunately, it had already become a bit fresh, so we decided for the restaurant. it was, despite the sausage market, well visited what was surprising to us. the greeting was friendly and the drinks came fast. on the map there is something for everyone, also my demanding woman: she ordered a fitness salad with bark strip. he saw very tasty, a really big part and really tasty as she says. Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal in der alten Schmelz zum Abendessen, alles war sehr lecker zubereitet, dazu ein sehr freundlicher Service , wir kommen wieder !!

Sehr schöne Gaststätte mit einem sehr aufmerksamen Service. Draußen gibt es es einen tollen Biergarten. Essen ist sehr lecker. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.!!

Bodenständiges Gasthaus mit Pfälzer Spezialitäten. Wir waren auf der Durchreise. Um 14:30 Uhr ein Schild zu sehen "heute durchgehend warme Küche" ist ein echter Lichtblick. Gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung (unser Hund hat unaufgefordert Wasser bekommen - super). Alles bestens - was will man mehr.

"Die Alte Schmelz " bei Bad Dürkheim , ein absolutes Muss für jeden Besucher der Region.Regionale Küche paart sich mit durchaus 'haute cuisine'. Der Chef kocht persönlich und die Chefin backt Traumkuchen. Platzreservierzng fast unerlässlich. Aber wie man es gewohnt ist bei der pfälzer Gastlichkeit , ein Plätzchen findet sich immer. Die Einrichtung schlicht aber sehr ansprechend, Atmosphäre eines typischen Pfälzer Gasthauses ,Tische dafür überraschend stilvoll eingedeckt.Neben den typisch pfälzischen Gerichten (Leberknödel ! ) auch einiges in origineller Darbietung (Pfälzer Salat !) Insgesamt sehr ordentliche Qualität.Eigener Raum für Hunde und spielende Kinder, klingt ungewöhnlich, war aber sehr angenehm.Toiletten etwas älter aber sauber.Bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell.

Wir haben bei einer Tour durch den Pfälzer Wald hier zum Mittagessen haltgemacht und wurden leider ziemlich enttäuscht. Ein Teil der Räume wirkt sehr unpersönlich, spartanisch einfach eingerichtet, Kunstblumen auf den Tischen, kein Bild an der Wand und zu allem Überfluss haben wir dann noch 40 Minuten auf unser Essen warten müssen. Service sieht anders aus und man kann sich dieses Verhalten nur dadurch erklären, dass es zumindest am Wochenende wohl immer mit viel älteren Gästen voll ist und da heißt es eben zu warten. Einmal und nie wieder!

Es ist mir ein echtes Bedürfnis Euch nochmal ganz herzlich Danke zu sagen für das tolle Menü und den liebevollen individuellen Service gestern. Meine Freundin und ich waren hellauf begeistert. Es war ein Rundumwohlfühlpaket und die Krönung unseres Tages! Vielen vielen Dank dafür… Das einzige was nicht gestimmt hat - war der Preis…. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Aber das Lokal macht nichts aus dieser tollen Lage. Das Ambiente ist schlicht und einfach nicht vorhanden. Wir waren zum Gänseessen. Eine ganze Gans. Welch Enttäuschung! Alles in kleine Stücke tranchiert, noch nicht mal die Gänsekeulen am Stück! Ob das überhaupt eine ganze Gans war? Ich würde ja noch nicht mal meckern, wenn wenigstens das Gänsearoma da gewesene wäre. Nur der dazu gereichte Wein war lecker und die Bedienung super nett.Schade! Ich hoffe Sie lesen diese Kritik und versuchen etwas zu ändern!
