"fabulous restaurant is located in a slightly dodgy (res light) area so there were a lot of men hanging on the street outside. once inside it was another atmosphere. the experience did not begin too well, and they had the wrong number of people. I made the reservation even if I had email confirmation. When we arrived, they sat people at our table and told us we had to wait until they had finished eating (they only had just ordered drinks before we could have the table. fortunately they moved them to another table and we could sit down and start our culinary experience. the waiter we had was really nice, he took the time to explain the menu and translate it for us. he kindly told us that the carving head we wanted was very big, so if we had a starter that it was better to share a main part and order a next-judge. we had the carving that came with potato salad and ordered a cheese-spindle page. there were 8 of us and we ended two of the recommended deserts (brot and butter pudding and the competition red ice cream). eating was delicious and well cooked, accompanied by a local hero riesling recommended by our waiter. the bill was very reasonable 42 each inclusive service) in consider how much eating and we had. the ambiente in the inner was beautiful; dark walls and correct candles. the attentive service that was not intrusive was the icing on the cake. in any case they recommend eating here, but in any case check whether they have confirmed their reservation :"

amazing eating, great wine vine and very good service traditional German. our American guests and we loved the wobble pink roast with late zle. very central, so there are many beautiful bars for drinks afterwards.

This homey restaurant was an excellent choice. It is on the edge of the red light district but not to worry. Take a cab. The food was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. We met locals and had a most fantastic conversation....Enjoy.

this is a very good local restaurant with a limited menu. great atmosphere and very nice friendly staff. excellent wine list. in contrast to what others have written, we found it quite cheap for the quality of food and service it was certainly full that. is product of its quality.

Been here 4 times. 1 of them included great service and the best whitefish I've had in Germany. The second, was so-so, and the other two were somewhere in between, but definitely worth the trip. Recommended by Booking.com as a must-do when in Stuttgart, the place turned out to be a bit overpriced and the food we ordered not really worth the money. It wasn't bad and the staff were nice, but I would definitely have considered going somewhere else...had I known what I know now.

The Weinstube is centrally located and in the red light district. Cozy atmosphere, nicely furbished, a place to stay longer. The menu includes local classics and a changing menu and as the name suggests a wide variety of wines. Food was great for all of...us. Service was very attentive and quick. Highly recommended.

If you would like to try easily the best truly home made Maultaschen in the Stuttgart region come and visit Froehlich. Intimate restaurant with great service. we went to this restaurant with a group of friends on local recommendation. good quality and full of food in their court characterizes this restaurant located in the “red light district”. personal does whatever is possible to satisfy visitors, decoration is anonymous, but beautiful... in a clam a traditional wine room like those that they could find in pastness.

This is the first important information: this is a restaurant where Germans come for a good (no, fantastic) Wiener Schnitzel. The Rinderbrühe with Maultasche (a broth with a german ravioli) is out of this world in a cold evening. The decor is perfect german without...the baroque approach we foreigners expect. Company was lovely. She, took me there. A great beginning for a great night. Very good local wine too. Give German red wine a try. You will like it!!!
