Whispers Cafe Bistro

Good old fashioned food at a sensible price, I chose corned beef hash, but lots of other dishes available. Felt right at home here.

Been going for years and food always excellent but place looking very tired. Table seat split with stuffing coming out and table varnish looks a mess.

Great staff and food. Go regularly with family and never had a bad experience. The wraps are lovely. But the Spanish omelette is my favourite... My little one loves it

Dropped in at this cafe in Lytham for breakfast, nice to have the option of a smaller sized portion. The food was excellent, no grease lovely bread for the toast plus a good cuppa

Pleasant and friendly staff Food average. Watch the world go by through the large window. Outside and upstairs seating. Specials board. There were dogs in this cafe which is not for me.

I had the mozzarella, basil, and tomato panini and it was delicious, it as accompanied by a decent salad. The Orange juice was great and it was a nice and chilled atmosphere. A good eating/ drinking place and the deserts look good.

Food excellent but couldn't finish the steak and ale pie. They kindly boxed it up for me. Had apple pie and custard as a take away and that too was excellent. Will definitely call in again when I next visit friends in Lytham. Big thank you to all the staff.

I've been here a few times. It's open from 8am (when many cafes in Lytham are closed) for an excellent Full English. And it does a wide range of foods including more traditional dishes such as Lancashire Hotpot and Steak and Ale Pie. Today I tried something I've never tried before Spanish Omelette, and was very impressed. Amanda and her staff always provide excellent, friendly service. This cafe/bistro offers really good value and service.

I ordered a bacon barm (sandwich to people outside of Lancashire) with the bacon extra crispy, for my son. At £6, it’s about on par for the location. What turned up was the cheapest barm I’ve seen outside of a greasy spoon cafe, and the bacon was so raw that it walked itself to the table and oinked. More fat than bacon. They even had the audacity to present this abomination on an open platter ie two halves of the barm with the slimy porcine offerings slapped on top. There is no one anywhere on God’s green earth that wants to be served raw bacon. Surely it must be taught in catering colleges how to properly cook bacon. Even vegetarians start to get a bit moist around their loins at the prospe...
