"We went there without a reservation and just got the last table. We ordered a local wine (OK), Wiener schnitzel (excellent) and pork medallions (excellent). We both also ordered potato salad and fried onions (again both excellent). The presentation was outstanding.The greeting was friendly and we were immediately recognised as British, spoken to in English and given an English menu, although the specials were only in German which our host translated for us.The atmosphere inside is of a traditional Bavarian restaurant (a very busy one!) and remember it only opens at 5pm and is closed on a Monday.We will return for one of the best meals we've had for a while."

"The idea, the concept (all-gäu tapas) and the setup are great. Unfortunately there is no food by far. The chili cheeses were fine, but actually only braided chips. Where the chili was, I remained hidden. I felt the bratwurst very fade. I would have saved the Kaiserschmarren with Holundereis better. The Holundereien were simply sweet, but unfortunately neither creamy nor tasted for elders. And all in all, it is quite pricey, because as usual with tapas several things are ordered to be filled. Conclusion: It is not enough to create a great ambience, you also need to deliver quality, especially when you retrieve such prices."

"Welch superschöne Überraschung. Wir sind spontan in Die.Speisekammer und wurden vom freundlich, kompetenten Service und von ausgesprochenen Köstlichkeiten aus der Küche verwöhnt. Da wir nicht die ganze (kleine aber feine) Speisekarte rauf und runter essen konnten, sind wir am Folgeabend gleich nochmals als begeisterte Gäste eingekehrt. Die Vorspeisen wie Makrele Sushi mit gebratene Petersiliencreme oder Zweierlei von violetter Artischocke, Minze, Polentacreme und Sesampesto waren excellente Starter. Lemberger geschmorte Ochsenbacken mit Dreierlei Zwiebeln und Süßkartoffel und Brokkoli waren so zart und geschmacklich perfekt. Die Nachspeise gebrannte Tahiti-Vanillecreme mit schwarzem Johannisbeersorbet rundete das bereits perfekte Dinner vollkommen ab. Superb!"

"I can recommend the Hotel Alpenkönigin without restriction. I was happy here. The hotel has many free parking spaces, even if all of them are occupied you will find a parking space in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Everything was uncomplicated. My room was very nicely furnished and everything was very clean and well maintained. I was totally excited about the wellness area in the basement, which is very clean and invites you to stay. You can swim here from seven o'clock in the morning. Breakfast was absolute top. Everything the heart desires was offered. You immediately noticed that it is very high quality foods that are offered here for breakfast. Great hotel where everything fits."

"Service excellent, price/performance in the upper segment, but the owner also wants to dinate with style. The products are fresh. The ambience in the large village house has not promised me. Here the architect has not done his homework in terms of scarf protection: 6 put! One sits in a large resonance space, the voices and all sounds amplified and reflected.
