"Came for my birthday with the family. Upon arrival, asked to put the baby's pram in the entry way, while he was fast asleep in there. No issue, did so accordingly and managed to get baby back to sleep at the table. However another family came in 10 minutes later and no discussion with them literally waved through with pram into the restaurant...boggling. Food was lovely, true authentic italian. Unfortunately, found a hair in my wife's drink. Service was acceptable, one sever had the face of a bulldog chewing a wasp the whole time. Noticed a wasps nest outside near the guttering above the front door and windows. Haven't left the best impression given their selectiveness with babies/children at the very start of the evening. Children's menu is limited in choice, could do with a bit more variety portion sizes for kids were great. For adults, phenomenal food. Doesn't give the best family vibe simply due to the limitation on kids menu. If I was coming here with friends for an evening, would be absolutely spot on. Date night would be great. Just didn't feel great for family."

"I recently moved to Tadcaster, and my friend and I decided to check out the local coffee shop. I ordered a flat white and was really pleased with it! My drink was perfectly made, and my friend’s latte was equally delightful. Since it was lunchtime, we thought about getting food, which can be a bit tricky since my friend has celiac disease. However, the staff were very attentive to our dietary needs and informed us about what was safe to eat. I took the server's recommendation and ordered the Midwest chicken burger. Everything on my plate was delicious—the salad was fresh, the fries were perfectly salted, and the chicken burger itself was fantastic! We will definitely be returning. Plus, it's a dog-friendly place, which is a nice bonus. I can't recommend this spot enough!"

"This venue promised so much but didn't really deliver. Some parts were good others not great. Staff are very welcoming, although most are very young and seem quite inexperienced. For starters we had a mix of batterered king praws with a chilli dip which were enjoyable. Garlic mushrooms which hit the spot. Potatoe skins, again which were good. I had a goats cheese tart which was very small and not great taste wise. Our mains were of a reasonable size those that plumped for the home made steak pie probably fared best. The pie was served with homemade chips and a selection of vegetables. The pies were meaty inside with well cooked beef. The homemade chips were good too. I asked for Ketchup for my chips and wished I hadn't as it wasn't a great brand. I used the extra gravy that was served with the pie instead. My partner had a chicken stroganoff with boiled rice which he enjoyed. The most disapointing dish was the Chicken paramo. The béchamel sauce that was on this was bland, overly think and lumpy. Chef definitely needs to rethink this one. Our desserts were again a mixed bag. My partner ordered vanilla ice-cream and it only came with one scoop. The Crème brulee was good, as was the brownie. The ice cream sundae I had was a poor attempt. Served in a bowl with what presented like squinty cream . We have been here before and thought the food wasn't as good this time around. Just needs a few small tweaks though to improve."

"absolutely fantastic, just finished eating in the restaurant because all the surrounding restaurants were closed because it was a Monday evening so that it was with luck we discovered this fantastic restaurant. we did not book, but the very friendly employees found us a table for 2 despite busy. fantastic eating and very attentive service at a reasonable price."
