Called in for Lunch without booking. We were met with a friendly greeting and made to feel welcome throughout. Service was quick and cheerful, the food was excellent. We will definitely be back!

We had a delightful dinner at the Rockingham Arms. Everything was just right - the ambiance was cozy, the staff was friendly, the menu had a good selection at affordable prices, and the food was fresh and homemade. It was a perfect evening.

I have now visited this excellent establishment about 8 times both as a member of a large group and also when there's only been a couple if us. Always had an excellent meal and friendly service. My favourite place for pub food in the area. Well done to all involved in running the Rockingham Arms

I had been wanting to try out this pub for a while because of its reputation for offering gluten-free food and being knowledgeable about cross contamination. Despite arriving late due to flooded roads, we were still warmly accommodated. It was a relief to be able to order without worrying about cross contamination. The roast beef Yorkshire pudding was a delightful treat, although I should have opted for the smaller portion. They have a new menu in the works with even more gluten-free options. I will definitely be returning, and I appreciate that they also welcome dogs.

Our original venue unfortunately cancelled our lunchtime booking on Saturday with half an hours notice due to a location wide power cut. At short notice The Rockingham Arms was able to fit in our party of 12 for my brothers 50th birthday (who had travelled for 4.5 hrs to be with us) and saved the day. They also managed to give us the conservatory to ourselves right next to the garden so the kids could play out whilst in sight. They decorated the room with birthday banners and served up a delicious 3 course meal from their excellent menu. They even put some candles in his dessert and sang happy birthday.
