"Zapfhahn is the best burger restaurant in Bamberg. Best thing bout them apart from their burgers being delicious is that all of them can be served vegetarian, a lot of them vegan. You just tell the waiter you want the vegetarian patty instead of meat.(If you are vegan watch out if there is any cheese listed The patties are made of beans and have a little liquid smoke in them, very tasty. The burgers are mostly around 8 to 12 € but they don't include side dishes. There is regular fries, sweet potato fries and coleslaw (not vegan). They also have different dips like aioli or home made ketchup. Only downside to this place is that it is always packed. So you should definitely call and reserve a table if you want to eat here. Better more than one day in advance. Would give them 5/5 but I can't since they also serve meat."

were there on Saturday for the first time. have long reserved and I have to say it's worth it. at last a decent burger in bamberg. were five people and were satisfied with everything. we look forward to a next visit.

the burgers are really hard to bite and the aioli cream is world class! the service staff tries to stay friendly despite stress and wait long for our eating, we did not have to. Visually, the beer garden is not so my favorite, but this is also just a thing; as again

a vegan burger option that was great (and hard to find in bamberg.) the fried tweebel rings are also vegan that were delicious, and they had 2 different options of vegan sauce to go with them. we had the vegan smoked Bbq sauce that was very good. good service and location.

unfortunately they went out of the Veggie-Patty (so they said that they can do almost any burger vegan), so I took the jack obstburger, who was amazing. super special and rare combination with drawn jack obst, apple red cauliflower etc. but was really great. and super friendly staff

nice sitting area in the garden. only a vegan burger (and a vegetarian) with drawn jackfruit, but it is very good. the horses are also very tasty and well seasoned. the koleslaw is also vegan, which is rare. unfortunately there is no vegan dessert. friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

super tasty burger, with sweet potato granatapfel, the best aioli of the city and beer better it is not. if they let the friendly service and the beer selection flow into the evaluation, they hardly have anything other than 5 stars. was not my first and certainly not my last visit. more so

A very great burger restaurant with a beergardenatmosphere. They have one vegans burger on the menu but almost all burgers can be veganized. The beers they have are all from the area and you can see on a map where they are brewed. The staff is friendly and if you like beergardens you'll instantly feel comfy. We had a great time and definitely would go there again.

We went to Zapfhahn for lunch while on a day trip to Bamberg. There were no vegan options on the lunch menu, but the waiter said they would veganise the old fashioned burger for me. The patty was made with beans, and it was absolutely gigantic! It was a really big, tasty meal. The chips were even better than the burger, really well-seasoned. The staff seemed very informed about veganism and were really helpful. We sat out in the courtyard and really enjoyed the whole experience. The restaurant is quite central, so it's easy to pop in while you're seeing the sights.
