"We envy Haibach around this attraction. Perfect price-performance ratio, very tasty fresh food and the services and the cooks are therefore flink (without spreading hectic). Such a service and such a professional organization are no longer experienced. Here some gastronomy should look. Would also give 10 stars."

"Siamo stati al cucinaio per pranzo. Abbiamo mangiato delle ottime tigelle, mozzarella di bufala e burrata accompagnate da un eccellente prosciutto di Parma. Non c´é che dire tutti i prodotti sono di ottima qualità e dimostrano competenza e un´accurata selezione. Purtroppo non abbiamo assaggiato il vino perché di tre che eravamo mia moglie era incinta, io dovevo guidare ed il nostro amico che ci accompagnava é praticamente astemio, ma ci rifaremo presto perché ci torneremo di sicuro. Ciliegina sulla torta il servizio é ottimo. I padroni sono una coppia molto gentile e siamo rimasti quasi un´ora a chiacchierare piacevolmente con loro."

"Nettes Lokal und sehr freundlicher Chef. Wir waren so gegen 13.00 vor Ort und waren die einzigsten Gäste. Es waren auch noch Handwerker im Lokal wo die Heizung repariert haben, das hat uns nicht gestör. Wir hatten 2x Döner Teller mit Pommes,das Fleisch hätte heißer sein können und mehr pommes hätte nannte drauf machen können. Es war über den Salat ein löffel von Dressing, über den Fleisch ein löffel voll Soße und separat hat man uns 3er lei Soßen gebracht. Hier könnte man etwas Brot oder etwas dazu reichen. Wir hatten als Vorspeise noch Knoblauch mit Oliven bestell das hatte die Bedienung anscheinend nicht verstanden weil es nicht gekommen ist. Wir kommen wieder und probieren es nochmal. Macht einfach weniger Soßen drauf ,Fleisch knusprig und heißer und mehr Pommes. Salat aufeinander extra Teller wäre auch besser.. Ansonsten macht weiter so"

"especially the price-performance ratio to the midday buffet is unbeatable!From the crisp wakame over shake nigiri to california roll, all sushi classics were available in excellent quality. but also more unusual variations can be found here (e.g. nigiri with smoked ham and something cheese congratulated on Teriyaki sauce).The service was also very friendly and attentive and has always pointed out that even if you like to reorder from the card something should be missing on the band.In any case a secret tip!"

"The restaurant of the Landhotel Klingerhof two miles away, our base, was closed and the receptionist recommended the Old Church in nearby Haibach, a pretty village in the valley below. It was almost full, and that at on a Sunday evening a good...sign! The place looked quite authentic, an impression re-inforced by the realisation that many locals were eating there. A friendly young waitress brought us a quite extensive menu in German only and we opted for a carafe of what we were told was a dry white housewine at a moderate price whilst we perused it. Neither of us found the wine dry and it was exchanged for another one without fuss, this time dry. I opted for the onion soup. My wife wanted a small tuna salad as a starter and sensibly suggested we should order our main course later, having seen the size of portions on other tables. My steaming soup arrived first, served in a big bowl; just as well it was so hot that I had to wait because it took some time for her salad to arrive. A starter salad? It was enormous, very fresh and delicious! Outgoing diners had to pass our table and we noticed that nearly all had a ‘doggy bag’ – it seemed to be taken for granted that most would be defeated by the amount of food and cardboard boxes to take uneaten food home were provided as if it was a matter of course. Our first course would have been enough but I felt a bit guilty, ordered some more wine, then agreed with my wife that we would order a Wiener Schnitzel (her choice) to be shared between us. A large plate with two schnitzels, French fries and salad arrived. We just could not do the contents justice (the food tasted fine and managed to eat just about a quarter between us. I had to explain to the waitress that there was nothing wrong with the food – on the contrary – and she immediately asked if we wanted a box to take the rest with us, an offer we declined. For two sizable first courses, basket of bread, a gigantic main course and ¾ litres of a very acceptable house wine the bill came to Euros!...This was quantity paired with quality at a give-away price!"
