"Wir waren hier zu einer Feier eingeladen.Es war ein Freitagabend, knapp 35 Grad und die Klimaanlage lief nicht, wollte nicht laufen oder man wollte sie nicht laufen lassen. Dieser Umstand hat dazu beigetragen, dass die ganze Situation sehr schnell negativ geworden ist.Die Getränke kamen relativ zügig, das Essen allerdings hat ungebührlich lange gebraucht.Gyros noch ganz in Ordnung, der Rest aber nur unter Durchschnitt: Fleischspiesse wie Gummi, Kartoffeln versalzen, Tzatziki kaum Geschmack.Ich muss einfach nur schmunzeln, wenn hier irgendwelche Leute 5 Sterne geben und von dem besten Griechen im Kries berichten.Noch dazu sind das Leute die gerade 1 Rezension abgeben, auf spezielle Bemerkung des Betreibers etwa? Ein Schelm wer hier böses denkt.Fakt ist, diesen Jungen Griechen erst einmal erwachsen werden lassen, dann wirds vielleicht noch was.Im Kreis GP gibt es besseres, definitiv."

Die Küche des jungen Griechen ist als sehr gut zu bezeichnen, wenn man das Gyros ausser Acht lässt. Das ist leider etwas trocken geraden. Ansonsten wird dort klasse gekocht. Die Fischplatte sowie die Lammkrone sind ein Gedicht, sehr zu empfehlen. Auch die Nachspeisen sind lecker.

haben hier zu viert lecker gegessen. Alle Essen waren super und frisch zubereitet. Dazu preisgünstig. Besonders empfehle ich euch den Fisch-Mix. Hebt sich toll vom Einheitsgriechen ab, da sehr variationenreiche Küche und nicht nur Gyrosteller....Sehr freundliche und engagierte Bedienung. Für uns war es mal das beste griechische Restaurant der Gegend, dessen Charme und dessen super professionelles Personal die kleinen Schwächen der Lage und der Location mehr als ausgeglichen haben. Wir waren oft dort zu Gast.Leider haben wir den Eindruck, dass durch andere Projekte des Betreibers der Junge Grieche zur "zweiten Wahl" geworden ist.Wir finden das schade.

Es ist hier nicht die klassische Zielsetzung - viel Fleisch und Pommes - sondern der Anspruch an etwas gehobenere Gastronomie. Das beginnt mit einem kleinen Gruß aus der Küche, eine Currysuppe in Espresso Tassen serviert. Auf der Karte findet man dann neben den Klassikern auch gute Fischgerichte. Alles in guter Qualität und ansprechend angerichtet. Kleine Weinkarte mit Schwerpunkt Griechenland. Zum Abschluss den Gratis Ouzo. Mich stört immer wieder die enge Bestuhlung und den damit verbundenen Lärmpegel.

"I write this review with years of fond memories of this place. The owner Valero has always treated my family and friends as his family. I visited this restaurant (for over 5 years 1987-1991) several times a week and there were weeks when I ate there everyday. From 1991 thru 1995 I was about 2 hours drive from Goppingen but whenever I was in the area this was my place to eat. Yes, it is THAT GOOD!!I have tried everything on the menu and have other typical German food but here are my highlights of the menu: Their salads are fresh with a light iol vinegar and spices dressing, very refreshing on a hot day. Their Pizza is the best I've ever had and since then, nothing ever compares. Even when I visited the city of Venice, never found a Pizza so good. They make their own sauce - not from a can. Their pasta? The presentation is very appetizing and when you taste it, again that home-made sauce jumps at you. Tortellini, Rigatoni, Spaghetti all is good. Their Cappuccino is on the spot. Great ambiance and Valero, who at the same time is the only server, while his brother takes care of the drinks always makes his rounds and chats with the customers. I last visited Germany in Sept and enjoyed Lunch and Dinner. The flavors were as what I remembered and the quality of food as good if not better. I was a pleasant trip down memory lane to chat with Valero and his brother one more time. So, try the Pizza, try the Pasta, a Small Green Salad and close it with either a Cappuccino or a Brandy. You will feel like you are in heaven. The Price is very reasonable compared to other places around town and for the amount of food and Quality you get more than your moneys' worth."
