"Came here on a vacation trip to Berlin over the winter after watching the series from Anthony Bourdain on Berlin restaurants. I had pinned this place as a go to because the food on his show looked AMAZING. My friend and I came here after exploring around Alexanderplatz and the Christmas markets. The subways in Berlin are pretty easy to navigate so it was a quick 10 minute subway ride from Alexanderplatz' Christmas market. The food (10/10) I got the rindergoulasch (with pickled cabbage and potato dumplings), the goulash was pretty tender and cooked really well. I also really liked the potato dumplings because they almost had a gelatinous texture so it felt like I was eating a mochi, so chewy and so yummy! The potatoes also soak up the sauce well. I like how nicely pickled the cabbage was as well. It was the perfect for the cold Berlin winter. The drink was good too, I got basically a hot toddy which is just heated liquor with hot water. If you like whiskey based drinks I think this could be good but it's definitely on the less sweet side. Check this place out, food is great!"

really typical berlin kitchen, deliciously prepared! where can you find under 10 € kapernklopse?! the zanderfilet was also mega tasty. absolutely recommended!

Richtig typische Berliner Küche, köstlich zubereitet! Wo findet man sonst noch Kapernklopse für unter 10 €?! Das Zanderfilet war ebenfalls mega lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

(3.5 stars) Really enjoyed the currywurst and fries here, though I wish there was more sauce for the fries. The meat was quite good, fries were fine. Beer on tap not my favorite but easy to drink.

Great German food with a typical old-school Berliner Kneipe atmosphere! Service is also good. Whenever we feel like good German food, we always go back to this place. You cannot go wrong with this restaurant!

Es Urig und einfach wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Die Bestelllungen kamen in kürzester Zeit an den Tisch und der Service war nicht nur freundlich sondern freundschaftlich. Das Essen war vorzüglich zubereitet und sehr schön angerichtet. Alles in allem das beste Restaurant mit Deutscher Küche in dem ich je essen war!
