"Went twice here during recent Xmas market visitwe stayed at Hotel Fischer, see seperate review and really liked the ambiance, food and drinks. Very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. On second visit we ate here with myself having Kasslersauar krautpotatoes...and schnitzalsaladchips for my wife. All very nice and nothing left on plates at the end! Service was good although when busy does slow down but overall we were served by pleasent female staff. I enjoyed it very much and hope to visit again in the future"

Attended a large prebooked gathering. Finger food only, which was ok, staff were busy and frankly fairly blunt to the point of being rude. Wouldn’t rush back from that experience

Found this place by accident, but was very pleasantly surprised. Nice, cozy atmosphere. All locals. Good beer Berliner Kindl Jubiläums perhaps others were different. Really want to try their food, I love Kasseler..

I am a harsh critic and I loved the feel of this place. The staff were really good and welcoming. It has a real local bar feel to it but serves lovely food. We had six in our group and everyone enjoyed their food. The...portion sizes were great. Soups were all good. The mains were all of good size and everyone liked them

This was most disappointing. The waiters were rushed and rude. The salad was very unimaginative, lettuce and two slices of tomato with a bottled dressing. There was a shocking lack of service. The vegetarian option was a plate of cold potato hash brown and eggs very greasy. No one stayed to start it; and the party left without staying for dessert. The manager seemed only interested in taking the prepaid voucher

The food was not nice at all. It looked like the food had just been put together with no attention paid to presentation. The service was so disappointing and had no customer service skills. The dish name was given to us and no information about...what was in them. They brought a dish that was the only veg one and called it rusti or something and I was surprised how it was. fried eggs thrown on a plate with a slice of tomato and lettuce. The look and smell of it was a put off. Looks like no options for vegans
