"A very good address with unbeatable price quality ratio! ! Despite small prices, the quality of the products and the preparation of the dishes are at the rendezvous. I've never eaten so tasty bobun. The only disappointment is that I live far too far to enjoy their kitchen more often but I will come back without mistake when I return to Dieppe. A big thank you for this moment and I wish you a nice holiday."

"ideally placed, very pleasant terrace as long as there is a little sun, a very attentive, attentive, attentive and smiling staff. food is good on meals, even if a little expensive compared to other restaurants on the edge of the port, but afternoon snacks smell a little warm, and are a little frades. and then a fish chip at 17.50€, it's totally abused! 2 stars in less for prices a little higher than the port which is 2 steps away, and for the quality of food in the afternoon."

"An all you can eat restaurant with a difference you can select raw ingredients and take them over to the chef to cook them as you wait so you can eat really freshly cooked food [wok or grilled] and in addition there is a buffet for starters, mains and dessert. Good selection of seafood. The welcome 'cocktail ' [I presume it is a mixture of fruit juices] is a nice touch. Good value at 16.80 euros. Also children 's menu at a much lower price. Location at back of shoppng centre so could be easily missed unless you are heading to McDonalds."

"Serveuses aimables, souriantes et courageuse, bravo à elles ! Sinon j'ai pris un menu avec en entrée l'assiette de charcuterie, je déconseille ! Pas de goût, vraiment pas terrible Ensuite j'ai pris moules marinières frites, c'était ok mais sans plus et pour finir une coupe de glace, ras. Le point positif les serveuses, le reste bof"

"I have stopped here twice on the way back to catch the ferry to Newhaven and on both occasions have had good meals. As usual most of the staff speak good English so easy to order etc. The steak hache is cooked medium and very...****, tastes really good but make sure to ask for well done if you are not a fan of this style. The food we have had here has generally been of a good standard at a good price. The beer is well priced at about euro a pint. Cheaper than many places in France these days. The outdoor seating is great on a nice day. Inside can seem a bit dark however. They do not seem to cope as well when it is busy as I have seen a number of orders mixed up or forgotten but all are rectified. Best to make sure you are not in too much of a rush"

"Perfect for a coffee in the morning. As a result, we had lunch and dinner. salmon and tartare are excellent. The benches are comfortable and of course the place is more than magical. Our dog was also very well received. Thanks to the whole team"

"We went to the Casino restaurant early November with family, and we loved it! This restaurant is very beautiful! The meals are copied, well presented and very good! In addition, the service has been fast, which is always pleasant, and the servers are welcoming and nice! We will return with great pleasure to the family next time. Thanks again!"

"Petit coin sympa entre les deux ponts. Un immense drapeau rappelle que le restaurant sert des spécialités italiennes (des Marches) Ambiance cosy charmante, c'est petit, pensez à réserver. c'est de la cuisine italienne authentique, raffinée et simple en même temps. Que de saveurs! Petite carte qui prouve que les produits sont frais et vin blanc excellent, sec et frais (bio pour ceux que cela intéresse) Il faut aimer les pates al dente, bien sûr."

"very good reception and we had a good time. We were regaled with our Norman galette and its regional pumpkin, camembert, dieppe mustard. not to mention the green salad and a good raw cider. followed by my crêpe butter sugar that I love and tatin crêpe apple, caramelized apples for my husband. I recommend"
"one of the few restaurants offering a menu based on designers! Globally. No very welcoming notes. we always start: and a great experience with a menu adapted to level finance and good quality in terms of stylings! hot chocolate marrow dessert too good, in short to make its own experience! short restaurant that doesn't pay for a mine, but it's worth it!"

"We wanted an entrance that was not on the map (5 poellated holy shells), followed by a sauerkraut of the sea. The restaurant has adapted and could satisfy us despite the world in the room. The reception was very courteous, the fast service. In short, I recommend.(We also ate another day, marine mussels and ray wings, always nothing to reproach)."

"Not for the faint hearted if you are English however you have every chance to avoid the live seafood in choosing from the starter menu if you are squeamish about eating live whelks. I was reasonably resolute and OK but my partner would have quite happily returned them to their natural habitat! The basic menu gave a delightful reasonably priced 4 course feast if you chose carefully to avoid the starter pitfall mentioned and a very fatty desert. For me it was a lovely main course of fish medley in a creamy sauce, a simple but delightful course of local cheeses followed by the Tart Tatin, which was a sure classic very nicely served warm and moist Very friendly efficient and informative service involving advice on where the local cheeses could be purchased. Highly recommended by me but not by my partner who took a main of Moules Frites, the cheese and then the fatty desert mentioned and proceeded to feel quite overwhelmed by fat and the sight of poor squirmy creatures in their shells !"

"exceptional place that deserves a detour. We ate delicious oysters of torso, blots of an irreproachable freshness (day cooks) and pink shrimps served with mayonnaise house. we continued with a sauce with homemade bearnese sauce, homemade fries, fresh salad, homemade ratatouille (a lot of work for an intercoast) and the dish of the day a silk with Normandy cream sauce with mushrooms and fresh molds, with there still a debauchery of fresh and delicious vegetables. We see the chief wants to give us pleasure. go, enjoy such a place where you can receive the gourmets! ps: the little wine in pichet is a delicious dovey igp ribs of gascogne you will come back don't doubt thank you very much for this moment"

"A card too long to be in "fresh products", in entry a herring that comes from Norway as the waitress honestly tells us! Tribute! and a liver of self-declaring poached but actually under a big layer of sauce! And "references" of herring and lotted all afternoon....more: St James stirred garlic and parsley and sunk apples: all in a large butter pond, well oval potatoes so probably frozen and barely golden, st Jacques well cooked, garlic and parsley not fresh, no taste medium scented Great Norman crêpe with apples, calva and caramel with salty butter Staff welcoming and nice but good.... You see..."

"frankly, we might believe it's a tourist trap, by the beach, right in front of the sea. Well, get out of here, fried mussels are excellent and fresh, and impeccable service! a nice surprise that allowed us to spend a very good time for a very affordable price. Bravo!"

"that day we only wanted one thing: a sole meunière and if possible on the terrace. the terraces are numerous on the port of dieppe and tourist traps as well. the terrace of the dunette seemed nice to us. a look at the map: yes there is sun sole and euros which is a reasonable price if it is a real meunière sole. Well, it was a true sole, perfect cooking, original accompaniments, alleviating presentation. with a white ancestor and a lemon pie that seemed to be made home. a perfect lunch by the water with a beautiful sunny day. What more? We'll explore the map a little more next time."

"We were staying outside Dieppe on the last couple of days of a trip to France and had no fixed eating plans. We had eaten on the main strip by the harbour on the first day and now hoped to get an early meal on the second day. We chose La Cale on the basis of research on TA and when we crossed over towards the older industrial section of the town - a very short walk - we wondered about the choice. We arrived just ahead of opening and enjoyed the sun watching young lads plunge from the high walls into an inner harbour. We were the first customers on a sunny evening and enjoyed the best meal of our entire two week trip across Belgium and France, and indeed not bettered on our way back across England and Wales. The chef owner was present and even helped to bring out the food. One could talk through the dishes but in reality that is not necessary. Fresh, wonderfully prepared, and sitting alongside a fine wine list and local beers. After we had finished any I was waiting outside I had the chance to chat to the chef from his kitchen door - between my imperfect french and his imperfect english. We discussed the quanities used in the creation of his homemade fruit liqueurs - as I had observed him adding coffee beans to one of the liquid and fruit filled jars lined above the bar and in the window of the restaurant. If you find yourself in Dieppe and looking for a different place this is it"
