"I would like to start by saying I'm a big fan of the fox and eat there often. Today, however, I was disappointed. Having booked a table in the bar area, I went to the bar to order my food. There was only one member of staff behind the bar, and he was busy getting drinks for the restaurant. After ten minutes, I had to ask a female staff member who was hovering around the bar if she could take my order. After sitting down, I waited and waited, and eventually I asked another female member.If she could find out what had happened to my food, as myself and my father had waited what seemed like forever, she went off and came back very promptly and advised us it wouldn't be much longer; 5 minutes later, she brought it out. The reason I'm leaving a review is that while I appreciate it's a busy period, surely there should still be the same level of customer service and care taken towards guests when they book a table and are waiting for food. Not one person asked if we were ok or apologised for the delay . I took the name of the lovely lady who got our food for us. If it weren't for her, I feel sure we could still be waiting there! Her name is Krystnee Pelc. Krystnee, thank you so much for caring about us today because no one else did. You are a great example of an excellent employee, and you clearly care about and love your job. You saved the day."
