"Seconda volta per me alla Locanda. Ambiente piuttosto formale, elegante e raccolto, all’entrata dominano le carni disponibili che sono orgogliosamente esposte. Menu vario e a base di carne. Mentre la prima volta avevo provato una grigliata (per due persone), stavolta ho provato un filetto danese e ne sono rimasto molto soddisfatto: cottura perfetta come richiesto, carne tenerissima. Buona la lista dei vini. Non è un posto propriamente economico: non parlo della carne (che se è buona costa) ma del coperto, contorni e dolci, il cui prezzo è esagerato e sopra la media. Servizio tutto sommato buono, anche se il cameriere ha fatto un po’ di pasticci a versare il vino."

"Mi sono recata in questo ristorante la scorsa settimana col mio fidanzato e ci siamo trovati veramente molto bene. Hanno una grande scelta di tagli di carne e l’ambiente è molto bello ed elegante. Prezzi in linea con la qualità e la location; personale super preparato e cortese. Un ringraziamento particolare ai barman per gli ottimi cocktail. Hanno un piano bar in stile americano che rispecchia al il mood del ristorante. Era un sabato sera con il Dj ed il divertimento è stato moltiplicato. Consiglio a tutti di andarci anche perché posti così non si trovano a Milano!"

"Davvero un cattivo servizio. Noi (due adulti e un anno) siamo stati i primi ad arrivare, e abbiamo preso un solo tavolo come erano tutti liberi. Una cameriera ci ha chiesto se avevamo una prenotazione che non era, ma non era un problema rimanere. Non è stato offerto menu o acqua. Minuti dopo, alcuni altri tavoli sono stati occupati e i clienti sono stati serviti come dovremmo. Abbiamo chiesto se c'è una certa ragione che non otteniamo un servizio, allora siamo stati approvati con il menu e siamo riusciti a ordinare un po' d'acqua. Quando la bottiglia è arrivata, abbiamo chiesto il conto e abbiamo deciso di andare, in modo che la cameriera ha ripreso la bottiglia senza nemmeno farci prendere un sorso. Non consigliato per famiglie con bambini!"

"Avoid at all costs if you're coeliac Gluten Free. Ordered a takeaway gluten free Margherita and asked twice (once to a waiter and once to the manager) and they confirmed twice this was gluten free. Upon eating it around the corner we thought it was too good to be gluten free. So we returned to the restaurant to ask the waiter out the front and he confirmed straight away it WAS NOT gluten free. Offered no refund but they made us a new gf pizza but I don't know if we even should eat it now because how careless they were. Waiter was apologetic but manager couldn't care less and didn't even give eye contact. Hope my wife doesn't get sick now as we play russian roulette. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!"

"I recommend this to Koreans and Japanese people. The food was delicious, there was even a Korean menu, and the young servers gave me a “hello, thumbs up” so I entered in a good mood. They even gave lip service in Japanese to the Japanese people behind us. But that's it. Like other people's reviews, I received the bread I didn't order without even asking. It was 6 euros, and they only brought bread to our table and the Japanese tables around us. He said hello when entering, but when paying at the table, he threw a card and didn't even say hello when leaving after eating. I felt uncomfortable because I felt like I was looking down on Asians with just a few words of lip service."

"Ero in viaggio d'affari a Milano. Sono andato in un ristorante tardi, la notte di domenica a novembre 2023, e il locale era vivace, con famiglie e amici che si godevano i loro pasti. Questo significa che le porzioni avrebbero potuto essere più grandi, ma allo stesso tempo sono troppo abituato alle porzioni nordamericane, quindi non è un buon riferimento. "Venerdì 17 marzo 2023 - Disonesto! Il locale è carino, moderno e spazioso. Il cibo è nella media. Eravamo un gruppo di 5 persone, ognuno di noi ha preso un piatto: 4 panini, un'insalata e delle bevande. Le porzioni non erano abbondanti. Una delle prime cose che ci ha colpiti è stata che le patatine, che accompagnavano i 4 panini, sono state servite su un'unica teglia scarsa, senza tenere conto del fatto che qualcuno, fortunatamente non è stato il nostro caso, potrebbe non gradire questo tipo di condivisione che non era stata specificata all'inizio. In più di un'occasione, chi ci ha serviti ci ha detto che le cose che avevamo scelto non erano disponibili: il dolce, l'amaro, il panino. Ma la cosa peggiore è stata essere presi in giro dal cameriere/manager? Riporto in ordine ciò che è successo al termine della nostra cena: 1. il cameriere/manager? ci dice che non c'è linea, quindi dovevamo pagare in contante; 2. il totale di €130 ci è stato comunicato verbalmente, in modo confuso e impreciso, senza nemmeno una ricevuta di cortesia; 3. non ci è stata fornita alcuna ricevuta, nemmeno scritta a mano. Ci siamo molto pentiti di non aver protestato e di aver accettato passivamente il trattamento ricevuto."

"Cominciamo col dire che era un lunedì sera, il ristorante era molto pieno. Siamo arrivati e abbiamo aspettato un po' per ordinare. Arrivano gli antipasti e la tartare di carne, terribile e senza sapore. La carbonara, buona e abbondante, nulla da dire. La carne, costata Fiorentina, secondo loro da 500 g; io la chiedo al sangue e invece arriva bruciata, o come dice il cameriere "ben cotta". Chiedo spiegazioni specificando la mia richiesta e mi viene detto: "L’hai chiesta così", e se ne va. Sono senza parole!! Impossibile da mangiare. Cari gestori, capisco la quantità di lavoro e lo stress, ma non dovremmo essere noi a rimetterci. Tornerò, spero di aver beccato la serata sbagliata."

"A hearty portion of pretty good carbonara. Slightly undercooked pasta, slightly oversalted, but I was both full and satisfied. As a starter we got a fried cheese ball with pesto. It tasted great, but we had to pay for it, even though we had never ordered it. Somewhat rude in my opinion. The waiter seemed to have a bit too much to handle, but still managed to smile, which I appreciate. Nice people, a bit strange local. All in all, a good and safe choice in this jungle of tourist traps."

It was a pleasant evening summer weather outside, but it was cold in the room, the air conditioner was blowing directly on our table. "Flew in from Boston and just came off a three night stay in Venice. Checked out all the great reviews of In Buffalo and decided to go for dinner. The whole experience was top notch. Our waiter was hands down the BEST! In the end we bonded with Fabio so much, we wanted to take him home with us, it was like I’ve known him for years. The Manager was also very classy and professional and couldn’t thank us enough for coming in. On top of that, the food was exceptional, couldn’t get enough of it. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Sorrento, you won’t be dissapointed! We will be back."

Lui e gli altri membri dello staff sono stati molto attenti e cordiali. L'interno del ristorante è affascinante, con un vero e proprio sapore antico. Il cibo, le bevande e il vino erano tutti eccellenti. Il Castigo ha trasformato quella che avrebbe potuto essere una triste ultima notte in Toscana in una festa. Grazie per tutto, Il Castigo!"
