"My wife and I booked in to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We chose here as we were married in Greece a number of years ago and was looking for something which reminded us of that time and Greek authenticity....we were not disappointed! Although the restaurant was quiet as soon as we walked in the decor was superb and we were greeted by the owner and our waitress for the evening who both were very friendly and welcoming. We both chose a number of dishes off the meze menu which has so much choice of authentic dishes there is something to suit everyone's taste buds. All of the dishes were so tasty, the meat balls, Greek sausage, calamari, stuffed vine leaves, tzatziki, pita breads and gyros were all to die for and reminded us so much of our wedding in Greece. This is a gem of a restaurant. The food is amazing and reasonably priced, the service is fabulous and welcoming, the owner is amazing and friendly, highly recommended and we will return."

We visited Aegean last Saturday, It was very busy although the waitress was very friendly and polite; the food was very healthy and delicious, the Chef Lefteris is a sociable man and checked on us if everything was okay by himself. I dined there this evening with five good friends and we were greeted with a warm welcome by the owner, Lefteris, a superb host for the evening. We opted for the set meze menu for six people and we were not disappointed with the quality and quantity of the meal. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. I will certainly be returning.

Visited the aegean on 30/05/19 have previously been before with family and friends this time we went has a couple we ordered the meze this time which was fabulous the small plates just kept coming out really enjoyed even took a dessert home best Greek restaurant and the owner is so charming coming out of the kitchen to check everything is OK with your food staff are so friendly if you haven't tried yet you really should it's a little piece of Greece in Cardiff xx
