"Yesterday evening for birthday meal here. it was absolutely fabulous that eating is exquisite and authentic. good quality meat, boiled to perfection, fresh spicy salat and amazing home made brot and good portions to extremely favorable trips. the restaurant is open, with a lot of space between tables. the restaurant was full on a Thursday evening, which tells them how fantastic it is to eat! the staff was so helpful and polite, really took care of our table, nothing was too much annoyed. very recommend this restaurant, it is a small jewel and I will return soon."

The reviews here are pretty much true. Had breakfast this morning and pleasantly surprised with the shared breakfast platter for £35, the photos speak for themself. It was more than enough for 2 people and we couldn't finish it all. The only critique would be that the hot food was just warm enough. All in all, a very good experience. A really great experience at the Shish Kitchen, its the second time I have eaten here, the first was by chance as I was staying at the Travel Lodge next door (not recommended) but this time I made the effort especially as the food was so good the first time. I can't remember the name of the main course in the photo but it was a lightly spiced Kofte type kebab wrapped in a soft pitta type bread with a delicious sauce. The desert was also superb a home made Baklava with caramel ice-cream. If your within 20 miles then please give it a try five stars all round.
