"In part, I cannot understand the previous reviews. We were here as tourists/tourists with a group of 10 people. 1 week earlier called and booked. Everything went great and easy! The food was hot and the portions big. The staff is super nice and competent. As an example for the super service: We had 2 toddlers with us. One of them fell the pacifier on the ground. Immediately it was asked whether the pacifier/disinfect is boiled with hot water. Very attentive and great. Thank you. All hygiene measures were also complied with. We can only recommend this restaurant. Possibly recommended reservation."

"if they love the Italian cuisine, they have to visit pippo, the very nice manager and chef of the restaurants. here you will find real Italian cuisine, prepared with high quality Italian products. they will also find the sympathy of pippo, who will not miss to visit and chat. if they are more Italian, some advice. imagine first ... they will avoid in some cases "a little German" variants of dress like carbonara. the carbonara "Italian-Italian" is something special. very recommended .. excellent pizza."

"We were walking in bacharach and found this place by chance, excited by the label of 'vegan ' for a few dishes on the menu, we decided spontaneously to have a light diner. The food, service, and everything was nice, However they came out with bread-that was served with lard (i.e. pigs fat) didn 't tell us what is was. I had some, and then when the waiter came back they told me what is was. I was at the point of tears, and couldn 't even look at the waiter. Then when out dishes came out, the server said 'unfortunately we don 't have anything vegan to serve with bread ' and then gave my husband the meditterean salad with was covered in hummous and baba ghanoush. I can 't explain their incompetence at serving people who clearly are ordering vegan asking if the restaurant gets the vegan concept 'pig fat ' and then not realise they can just serve us hummous or baba ghanoush in place of pig fat. I tried to forget it, I 'm so embarassed and sad for eating 'meat fat. ' In the end they didn 't even apologise-which when messing up this bad they should. As there are few vegan places to eat in the area, take the liberty of being the militant vegan and double check everything they serve you, because they may not understand."

"Today in Bacharach it was a damp rainy day and as the Hotel am Market was open we decided to stop by for lunch. We were not disappointed by this at all. We both started with their Chanterelle Mushroom soup which was very rich and satisfying considering the weather we experienced. I had their salad which also had chanterelle mushrooms which was a very generous serving. My partner had the spaghetti with chanterelle mushrooms which was very satisfying as well. Service was friendly and efficient. Only downside was the Milch Kaffee which needed a more robust coffee bean. I would return here at a later date to try their homemade desserts which looked very decadent"

"I really wonder how such a place can be top rated! We made a reservation for 20:00 but the table was not ready earlier than 20:25. No English menu available and you don't see if you are a welcomed client. After ordering the food, it was ready 1 hour and 40 minutes later. For such a service and that super salty food, I would never recommend this place, specifically when you are in holiday.
