Deliziosa autentica cucina romana italiana. Ordinate ciò che vogliono, non possono sbagliare. Ho preso la carbonara ed era deliziosa. Leggermente salata a causa del formaggio e la guanciale, ma comunque molto gustosa.

My son and I had very high expectations and, unfortunately, they were not fulfilled The food was ok but truly, nothing to write home about. We got equivalent and even better food in other places. The hype is not justified.

Uno dei migliori ristoranti in assoluto. Se ti trovi in Italia e desideri un pranzo semplice ma delizioso, questo posto riassume tutte le ragioni per andare a Roma. Una selezione perfetta di classici romani, ottime opzioni di vino e prezzi molto ragionevoli. Una visita obbligatoria.

I tried to get in last year after doing research. Left it too late so made sure I was ready to go 30 days out this time. Was so excited. The service is terrible clearly not enough staff on and disorganised. 25 mins to talk to someone about ordering a drink. We were given bread after ordering then charged 6 euro for it! I didn't even notice or would have challenged it. Never ordered it. Food is ok it's absolutely nothing special. Could get the same in hundreds of places around Rome. A relic living on its past. I wouldn't bother.

Abbiamo avuto un pranzo molto piacevole in questo ristorante che si trova a due passi dal Pantheon. Per iniziare, abbiamo assaggiato il delizioso carciofo alla romana con mozzarella di bufala. C'è qualcosa di speciale nel modo in cui i romani preparano i carciofi, non troverete di meglio da nessun'altra parte. Questo è stato seguito da classici piatti di pasta come spaghetti cacio e pepe (formaggio pecorino e pepe nero) e rigatoni all'amatriciana (salsa di pomodoro, formaggio pecorino, guanciale e pepe nero). Sadly, this was a big disappointment. A very hard reservation to get, our hotel got us in for dinner booking it as soon as they reopened from the holiday break. It was always a busy place, being 60 years old, but more so since Stanley Tucci featured it in his Searching for Italy Rome episode. This was the only restaurant where the waiters made me feel like they were doing me a favor serving us. My wife and I both had the Americana. I should have ordered the Cacio Pepe, but since I had eaten it elsewhere the night before, I wanted a switch. Senza scene della fantasia collettiva ma con la sostanza necessaria e alcune eccezioni molto chiare, questo ristorante molto centrale diventerà un punto fisso nei miei viaggi a Roma. La posizione non ha nulla da dire tra le più belle di Roma: vista sul Pantheon, il posto essenziale senza grandi orpelli e dediche o foto ma c'è tutto. Servizi e servizio impeccabili, cucina adeguatamente combinata con porzioni da vecchio ristorante quindi generose. Una piccola eccezione: un carciofo alla romana leggermente arrostito che, tuttavia, esaltato in modo sublime solo questo bocciolo della pianta di cardo. It’s so unfortunate that I had to write this review. I really wanted to like this restaurant so much after watching Stanley Tucchi’s HBO’s Max Italy series and reading high reputable reviews like CN Travelers. My partner and I had a reservation at 10 PM the earliest time I could book three weeks ago. When we got there at 9:15 PM, I noticed there were several tables empty. They sat us immediately next to an older Italian couple who seemed to be regulars there. We realized the couple had a dog, mind you not a service dog, with a water pan for it next to the table.
