"we went to dinner during an exhibition with a group of 12 people from all over the world. on the German menu they had a entrecôte' and on the English menu was called the same court ribeye'. so I asked the waiter what is. it? band or entrecôte the waiter looked angry and said it was the same of course it is not. ribeye has a fat point in the middle and is another part of the web machine. the waiter began to react in a near hostile way and has actually raised his vote that he was a cook (which he then waits and that it was a ze same, yes?! what a joke. whatever. the ribeye turned out to be entrecôte and was well cooked (for rare and medium/good was made. I didn't even practice to send it back. then at the end of dinner he asked what we want to drink and 5 of us answered that we wanted an Irish coffee; the waiter indulged his eyebrows and annoying rolled his eyes and said that they did not serve it (I mean, they had literally walls full of ghosts etc. So what's the point? how difficult it can be to make a bar an Irish coffee. we have asked (registered that we spent well over 1100 euro in this night. the waiter then brought the cook out of the kitchen - in his defense I assume - and the cook said: I know Irish coffee, but we don't have a ze tootatz. ... I'm sorry: a restaurant with pretensions that didn't make the ingredients to make Irish coffee?! it's coffee, Irish whisky and whisk. just like 123. this restaurant is a sweat. an unfriendly sweat."

a somewhat underwhelming experience for my birthday dinner. this restaurant is very close to my apartment and I was very excited to be in the location.

Atlas is located in a quiet courtyard not far from the Altona Bahnhof. They propose a three courses menu that offers good choices between meat and fish. Should you want to go for the carte you will have also several interesting alternatives. All what we...got was good and nicely presented. Efficient staff and very good value for money.

group of 10 went to dinner after work. nice evening when he sat outside so very little space between tables. menus good and eat nice. service very slow. over 30 minutes from starter to main course. I only offered 2 drinks... in 3 hours, although I asked for the second, when dinner was served, and I had finished eating before it arrived.

We were 4 for the Schlemmer-Sommer-Menu and had a great time at Atlas. It is located in a courtyard which is very cool, tucked away so that it is quiet, surrounded by industrial buildings which have been tastefully renovated. We took a spot on the...terrace and stayed on through a downpour, protected by a large awning. The staff was great, friendly, skilled and they even served us while carrying umbrellas! The menu was 4 course: Beef Tartar with Avocado and Mango, Scampi Ravioli, Veal with a Parmesan Crust and then Cherry Tiramisu. Some of us had some minor variations, the kitchen was very accommodating. It was all delicious recommended!
