Baccano - Menu

Stepped into this restaurant on a whim OH MY GOSH, we were glad we did! We dined outside it was dreamy. Our waitress was charming thoughtful made great wine suggestions. We were thrilled to have stumbled upon this little gem!

We were in Rome, walking by the fountain of Trevi and found Baccano. The menu has oysters, salads, lobster, veal and burgers, something for everyone! I love the cool vibe, with lounge music playing in the background. The service was good too! Check it out if you're in Rome!

Service was spectacular. It's a wonderful location where you can dine inside or street side. They have a good wine selections and the usual Italian food. But they also have fish and seafood as well as selection of oysters. It's not a cheap cafe but a dining experience I recommend.

Ohhh what to say here. First of all we had the best Rigatoni Carbonara in Rome and in Life. The service and the dining Al fresco was great. We had met the Chef off premises and also this ristorante had been highly recommended particularly for their Carbonara so we decided to try it. Fanfriggintastic, it is the BEST EVER! This should be a Do Not Miss status, when in Rome eat here!!!

This was one of the better if not best restaurants we visited in Europe thus far in my travels. This restaurant has a market feel to it but yet it intertwines itself in a holistic presentation. What I mean is that it has excellence in fish, meat, pastas, and so forth. Pictured above is oysters, steak, lasagna, cured salami and wine. Yes, this was just for a duo. There must be something in the water (fountain of Trevi) that made us so indulgent--just a stones throw away.

Non so perché questo posto è valutato solo 3.5 stelle, ma vivo nella capitale della pizza degli Stati Uniti e sono italiano quindi conosco buon cibo italiano. Devo ancora essere colpito dal cibo in Italia da quando sono arrivato 5 giorni fa. Finalmente ho trovato questo posto e finalmente sono state soddisfatte le mie aspettative. Abbiamo avuto il cacio de Pepe e rigatoni carbonara ed entrambi erano i migliori che abbiamo mai avuto, compreso il nostro. Non avevamo antipasti, quindi non possiamo rivederli. Abbiamo avuto la ciambella Ferris ruota per dessert che era anche meraviglioso. I prezzi erano buoni, il cibo era buono e il servizio era buono. Mangerò di nuovo lì mentre qui a Roma

The pastas were delicious! This place was a great introduction to Roma. After seeing the Trevi fountain, we chose this spot to have dinner and we're seated at the last remaining outside table in one of the less appealing outside areas of the l restaurant. Make sure to keep you bags toward the restaurant side and not by the street side so no passing people can pick pocket or steak what you have. The hostess made sure to remind us as we were being seated. DO get the carbonara. I'm no expert but I can tell you it tasted delicious, and the way the pig was cooked in thick little crunchy salt fat bites was perfection. Non mi dispiace essere lasciata sola, in realtà è un saggio gesto da parte di un cameriere MA... chiedere acqua, ordinare un cocktail e non riceverlo mai? Dopo aver aspettato 10 25 minuti? The ambiance felt more French than Italian, but it was lovely. Dark wood. Deep reds. Low light. It made me want to eat red meat and ravage an Italian woman. We adjusted our American expectations for European style service. They don 't fuss and fawn over you in Europe. You gesture and they 'll come, otherwise they leave you be.
