"We had to wait for the food for 45 minutes. My order was not what I had requested. I made 2 attempts to get my order corrected but never got it correct. It was very hard to get the waiters attention and they barely spoke...any english. I demanded to get at least a discount for the bad service and wrong order, but the staff did not give me any discount. One waiter told me to leave the restaurant and looked like he was going to punch me. It is an unacceptable service."

Coffee Waffles are amazing. I just stopped by when I got off at the Hackescher Markt. Finally a tasty well made coffee and the waffle is really delicious. Reasonable price. Friendly staff

Nice food, restaurant offers italian classics, but also they have their specilties in menu. I ate Barist pizza and I can recommend it to everyone how would try something else than currywurst. Fresh, light and tasty.

We popped in here for a light snack prior to an evening visit to the Reichstag dome. WMy wife and I ordered a tarte each, expecting a small quiche. Instaed we got a gian totated flatbraed probably 30cm x 20ish cm with a light topping...of cheese and in my wides meal beetroot. Both tartes were tasty and light.

we waited 15 minutes for drinks. after 40 minutes the margherita of my partner arrived. 20 minutes later my carving arrived, at which time her meal was cold. that is a number one large, no for restaurants. though I praise what the manager looked like. he was very annoyed about it and checked us again and again. eating itself was quite basic, but filling. the prices are too high.

So we were at a bit of a loose end having done east side gallery and the rest of the main areas in Mitte Wandering around and found Barist...Wasn’t sure as it felt like a bit of a tourist trap but it was really good My linguine alla pugliese was brilliant Emma enjoyed her goats cheese salad too The whole lunch, including a beer and an aperol was like 36 euros Very impressed
