Great food using local produce, lovely staff and good service. Fantastic location for the M6 but feels very rural

Fantastic food, lovely and delicious. Staff we're very helpful couldn't do enough for us kept checking if everything was ok, would have been nice if was asked how do like steak cooked one of them wasn't cooked enough for a couple of guests, mind and friends was perfect. Visited on Mothers’ Day with my family. They were very busy but the service was excellent. My two year old is too small to order a children’s meal so she was sharing mine and the waitress got her a Yorkshire pudding which she loved. My eldest chose from the children’s menu which was choice of mini roast options, so nice to see proper food for the little ones! The food was excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Over the last couple of months we have visited here 3 times , twice for Saturday lunch for a Birthday and Mother’s Day and once for Sunday lunch The service and food have both been excellent on all occasions whilst on the more expensive side you do get what you pay for, good size portions and high quality ingredients. Would love to see the menu change more frequently , having said that this is our new favourite place

We went for Sunday lunch and were greeted and seated warmly. Another waiter took our drink order promptly and then our food order. The food was delicious, very flavorful and hot, and beautifully presented. However, we had to wait about 20 minutes for our table to be cleared after finishing, even though all other tables were cleared as diners left. We were then asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu, but at that point we no longer had a desire for dessert. Despite the great start, we were disappointed with the wait. It is worth mentioning that by that time, the bar and restaurant were nearly empty so there wasn't a rush. Visualizza piatti
