Stopped in for pre-dinner drinks. The atmosphere was very enjoyable, with friendly staff and beautiful views of Carlyon Bay. Service: 4, Location: 5.

Treated by friend to a cream tea at the Carlyon Bay Hotel. Lovely relaxed afternoon, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Plus had lovely view of the sea. Cream tea was good as well .

Lovely spa morning. All modern and clean facilities. Sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and swimming pool. Plenty of space and seating. We used the restaurant after and the service was great and the food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Service: 5 Location: 5 Visualizza piatti

Team were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Reception were very helpful and friendly and the grounds keeper/maintenance guy treated the grounds with pride. Breakfast NOT to be missed and especially paired with the views. What a perfect location. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

I frequently stop by this place for coffee and cake during my daily walks along the coast path. The service is consistently outstanding, and the surroundings are beautiful both inside and out, featuring lovely, well-maintained gardens and stunning sea views. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this lovely hotel offers a separate vegan menu for dinner (photo attached). I only stayed for one night, so I couldn't try everything, but I had the tofu as an appetizer and the curry for my main course, both of which were delicious. The quality was on par with what you would expect from a vegan restaurant, if not better! They also serve bread with vegan butter. The service was outstanding, as expected from a beautiful hotel. After noticing that they offered a separate vegan menu with four options for each course, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Unfortunately, the dishes we ordered seemed like something a non-vegan would make for a vegan. The "Crispy tofu with salad" starter was simply a few pieces of tofu mixed with greens and sweet chili sauce. The "cauliflower steak" was just a grilled slice of cauliflower with no marinade or seasoning, accompanied by new potatoes and green beans. While it was all cooked decently, it lacked inspiration. On the bright side, the beers were vegan-friendly.
