The Polgooth Inn - Menu

Very relaxed environment with really friendly staff. They have a vegan menu with 3 options for each starter, main and dessert. The portions are big, and the food is gorgeous!

Fab menu but a little over-cooked (kale bhajis) and a lot overpriced. Still worth a visit as the pub itself is gorgeous and the staff are lovely. I’d go again for the all-round package.

the pub is amazing and the personal is super helpful. there were 3 or 4 vegan options that were nice, but the good itself was average. would still highly recommend and for the contrary doubt they find everything somewhere near this good

we decided not to eat here at the end, because it is not only burrito or jacket kartoffel as pornstar. but a nice place to stop for a drink with the dogs after a walk. they grow so much beautiful veg on the ground hopefully in the next summer some more domestic food available

Simply the most delightful and traditional inn with a wonderful vegan menu including starters, main meals and desserts. I thoroughly recommend a visit here. The setting is stunning, there is a beautiful garden with quaint booth seating areas and the whole place is dog friendly. The staff are super cheerful and very helpful, plus there is live music on a Sunday afternoon too.. perfect!

I was very pleasantly surprised by The Polgooth Inn. It is set in the countryside and is a gorgeous typical county pub looking place. They have a separate vegan menus with three starters, three mains and puddings. All of which sounded and was amazing. All of the dishes were very hearty, great if you love big portions. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Great place to eat out with omnivores, great choice for both vegan and non-vegan, everyone is happy!

Cornwall is not the easiest place to find good vegan food, especially at pubs or inns, but this place totally blew me away! Vegetarian things are labeled on the normal menu, but you need to ask for the vegan menu from someone behind the bar. There are three options each for appetizers, mains, and desserts, all of which look lovely. I had the Moroccan nut loaf and it was seriously to die for. The salad on the side had ingredients straight from their garden, with the yummiest little red peppers that tasted like a cross between a red pepper and a cherry tomato. It was seriously such a refreshing experience

a nice pub with very modern decor on places but the menu was very overwhelming when it came to vegan options. they consisted of two appetizers, burritos or coat potatoes. this was a far cry from what is described here, there was no separate vegan menu, so I assume that the pub has changed the hands? the eating was wonderful (have them the southern fried colliflour burrito) and the personal bent back to accommodate for us, the chef threw some pudding together, although they were not on the menu that was very appreciated. the cost was high for what it was, but if it doesn't matter to them, I can say that they will enjoy themselves here.

we would not have had a warmer greeting (our it was a little cool, a beautiful lady greeted us and found a warm place for us next to a heating. we packed some covers and made us comfortable with some beautiful views over the valley. eating was as wonderful as the service. we shared the non-Meat anti pasti to start the potato skins. both were delicious, but the hummus on the anti pasti was excellent homemade with coriander from the pub's own kitchen garden. Unfortunately we were not allowed to steal the recipe! for the net I had the “Non-Fleischballs”. once again I was not disappointed. a huge part of fresh, homemade farewell. highly recommended.
