"I had ordered a table via the reservation system and stated the occasion of the meal, the birthday of our son. This occasion was completely ignored, there was no congratulations either at reception or from the waiter. It was also jammed at the reception because the lady explained very verbatim to a tourist couple that the restaurant was fully booked and she then started a kind of conversation with them, so we had to stand there for almost minutes unnecessarily. Our waiter was attentive. The prelude was a peppery Indian bread similar to chips with a very good mild paprika cream. However, there were only small, chip-sized breads, so one small chip per person. Amazingly, there was no kitchen greeting. We all ordered the beef fillet, once with sweet potato fries and twice with baked potatoes. The latter turned out to be a kind of wedge and did not correspond to the expected and common large baked potato. Unfortunately this was not mentioned before. The sweet potato fries were very good, but also very sweet, depending on the species, took some getting used to. These and the kind of baked potato are currently a trend in some better restaurants and we encounter them in other restaurants as well. The side salad was good but unspectacular. A normal green mixed salad without toppings. The two sauces Bernaise sauce were also good, but on the small side. Just like the whole meal turned out to be very small. The pieces of meat were ordered twice medium, once in English and were on point. The meat portions according to the order ok, once ladies cut, twice mens cut. Since we were unexpectedly barely full, we ordered desserts, which are completely unusual for us, as we tend to be one of the few eaters. These were also delicious, twice lemongrass creme brulee and once the rice pudding with fruits. The food tasted wonderful, but unfortunately too little"
