"We were lucky enough to be given a gift voucher for Bella Calabria by one of our sons, for our 50th wedding anniversary. Booking a table over the phone was easy and surprisingly the restaurant was not that busy for a Saturday night. Our waiter was attentive and informative and looked after us very well. The meal was superb, tasty and generous portions. We would definitely recommend Bella Calabria to anyone. For such a small restaurant it doesn't half pack a punch. Food is delicious, fresh and flavorful and also very affordable. Staff were very nice and polite. I've had food from them delivered and always enjoyed it and today is the first time I've ever been in person and I will 100% go back. Simply delicious!

Our dinner at Bella Calabria was the best part of our trip to Portsmouth. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. The veal Marsala was a real treat, so tender and flavorful, with a rich and creamy sauce that was exquisite. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back if we find ourselves in Portsmouth again.
