What a lovely place to eat breakfast. My son got married up the road the previous day. Some of the wedding party needed breakfast the following day!! Because of the size of the party, it was just us, in there. Food was good, the staff were lovely. The owner was exceptional, very chatty, friendly. She offered a couple of couples free hot drinks cake for the journey home. This charming cafe tea room offers delicious homemade cakes, brunch options, and lunch specials. There is plenty of space with cozy chairs by the windows and tables for groups of up to 6 people. It is definitely worth the stroll from the pedestrian shopping area. The cassoulet and mac 'n' cheese specials were outstanding. There is a good variety of hot and cold drinks available, with my personal favorite being their luxurious hot chocolate. It is a cozy place to spend a rainy day, sitting by the window and watching the world outside. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is charming.
