Benedicto's - Menu

First class service and beautiful food. Three courses with drinks for five people for £200 was good value too. I chose seafood spaghetti which was perfect; so good in fact I’m looking forward to a return visit and ordering it again soon.

the restaurant was busy on a Wednesday night, but in the position to treat our party of 9 that had not booked! relaxing atmosphere big wine cake eating was fantastic. the chip ferbsenfritter were excellent and the pizza cooked to perfection.

Charged £1.50 for additional topping that wasn’t on pizza when delivered. Toppings thrown on pizzas so some areas bare. Two floppy and soggy. One inedible. Free wine not delivered either. £40 for three pizzas, two of which were unpleasant. Such a shame.

After we had eaten at benedicto many years ago, we were new and as expected it is still amazing. great atmosphere, great choice on the menu, fab service even if crazy busy and good quality eat and wein. I meet my friends here for weeks, I was with my man and also with our extended family and every time is just great.

very lively restaurant with good atmosphere. service very good. eating was good, but not great in our opinion. brie keile and garlic mushrooms that were quite standard. calzone, my man said, was very good. I had one of the specials that was nibbling. linguine at £17.50 I was quite disappointed because I couldn't find any crabs, it was just an aromatized sauce. I had expected more for the money.

after booking a special meal we had great expectations not to be! put them in the cellar at a nice evening, the service was rushed to the point all 4 courses were completed in an hour. people on other tables we get their. starters before drinks. rush rush, rush, could also go to almost food joint! to beautify it, the owners are sweating they are still here, obviously we didn't want to fit in him he wanted us out! even over 90 pounds wasted evening!

Food, Service ambience simply spot on. The owner is a larger than life, warm, huggy character who must inspire his staff to follow him. I'm not going to itemise our food orders as they were all different all equally yummy, except to say that...no meal is complete without a portion of their battered courgette. It is more expensive then our local pub but well worth the price. We'd visit regularly if we could as we always leave feeling uplifted enchanted as well as stuffed.

The food was absolutely to die for aside from the fact I asked to have the pancetta [bacon] removed from my pasta as I do not eat meat. They did not do this so I just scraped it aside as I didn't want to complain...too much but when they were told by the person I was with at the time they were very resentful. Aside from this when we did get upstairs a man apologised and wrote it off the bill as a good will gesture which was very nice of him. Would go back and the takeaway is nice and always has nice delivery people.

We have never visited Benedictos in person but ordered a takeaway last night via JustEat. The food arrived really quickly but that was the only positive unfortunately. We ordered a mozzarella garlic bread and whilst the middle was nice, the edges were completely burnt and...inedible. We also ordered lasagna for the main dish and again, one of these portions was incredibly burnt. It was also swimming in a very salty tomato-based sauce. The onion rings and fries as sides were ok. We were really disappointed with our food not cheap either at £35. We wouldn’t recommend Benedictos and won’t be ordering for delivery or visiting the restaurant.
