"Situé au beau milieu de la campagne à quelques encablures de Cordes sur Ciel le Cayrols est fidèle à sa réputation. Nous avons déjeuné en extérieur. Les tables sont bien espacées, ce qui permet de déjeuner en toute tranquillité et avec l 'intimité adéquate. Les plats sont goûteux, très bien exécutés et présentés. Le chef maîtrise son sujet, ça se voit et ça se sent. La carte est minimaliste, gage de fraîcheur et de fait maison . Nous avons débuté par le foie gras mi-cuit, accompagné par une marmelade d 'abricots et une émulsion à la lavande, délicieux, une explosion de saveurs. Nous avons continué avec le magret de canard et sa cuisson parfaite et les Saint-Jacques accompagnées de rizotto à l 'encre de sèche, un régal. Pour le dessert nous avons opté pour le gâteau au citron et le dessert au chocolat, tous les deux délicieux. L 'entrée à été accompagnée par un verre de Gaillac doux et un Gaillac rouge pour le magret. Bon accord mets-vins. Les portions sont bien équilibrées, ce qui n 'est pas toujours le cas dans un restaurant gastro . Le menu entrée, plat et dessert est de 35€ et franchement c 'est très correct au vu de la qualité des produits. Le vin au verre est d 'un prix raisonnable. C 'est une belle découverte, nous y reviendrons. Je vous le conseille particulièrement pour passer un très agréable déjeuner."

"We ate at 5 in the family, one evening on the terrace. The panoramic view is sublime, it was very pleasant. Regarding aperitives it's correct, the entries also. foie gras and hot goat salad were good. However, we have delighted enough when the dishes arrived. Beef with gaillac with dauphinois gratin. the presentation is summarised, and the taste is not at the rendezvous .. big disappointment!!! no refinement. Then we ended with desserts, lemon dessert and enjoyoles that were any. honestly, the price doesn't justify the quality of the meal, it's expensive for what it is served to us. Moreover the service was not at the top either...You understand it was disappointed and we will not return. It's a shame because it's a nice place."

"We are visitors from Australia renting a nearby gite and who will be cycle racing at the Albi event. We were looking forward to a nice dinner. The service at the restaurant was ok but the main meal was poor. The entree of duck pate was passable but the beef from the main meal was tough and very chewy, had to spit it out. The meat was a cheaper cut cooked badly. There was no joy in the meal. The dinner was from a set menu of three courses. Very disappointed, we didn't bother waiting for the third course (dessert)."

"We'll be palaced on a table in the sun. we asked to change what categorically refused us for more than doubtful reasons. However, he had several tables in the shadows that were assigned to the drop account at all coming (these people who did not have a reservation.) so we just ate a dish and changed a place for dessert. we are not the customers of the passage but we know where we will not return. with respect to the quality of the dishes: for me the salad was about going, but against my husband's pizza was really bad: paste not cooked just a few zucchini and peppers resembling more of boiled vegetables than grilled vegetables (but it is true it is not a pizzeria so abstain from making bad pizzas)"

"There's a reason this place is 20/20 on TripAdvisor and the locals say to avoid it. We were very hesitant to go here, but couldn't find much else open at the time. We figured how bad could it be. We were promptly seated and service was pleasant. The views are what people go here for - gorgeous views. Stop by and have a drink. We should've done this and avoided eating there. I order vegetarian bruschetta. It was tomato sauce, tomatoes and cheese on some bread. It was lukewarm at best. The salad was ok, but had no flavor. My partner had a burger and he remarked that it was a shame the cow died for this - it was tasteless. Thankfully, he shared some of his fries so I wouldn't starve. They had given us some plain bread for the table. I'm a huge bread lover, but it tasted almost stale. The beer was cold though."
