Bistorant Uppu - Menu

We had dinner at Uppu with people and it was a small nice party. Especially the really nice people who served us have to be mentioned. The food was simple but good (burgers, steaks, good beer and nice icy desert

This is the fourth year in a row that we have eaten at Uppu. It's great value for money and serves up good, honest food with a smile. Staff are happy to chat and you don't feel hurried. Probably our favourite Winterberg eating house.

Awfully long wait to order and to recieve our food and drinks. Service incredibly unfriendly. A stressful time of day is no excuse to be rude to a guest in our humble opinion. Once we got our food we enjoyed it very much, prices were...reasonable. Sadly, we won't be coming back.

The staff rush around like mad when its busy and forget basic customer service rules, like not being rude to customers. We tried to pay by card but they kicked up a fuss. We had to go to a cash point and once we had...paid, the idiots moaned that we hadn't tipped them! If you want service, go somewhere else.

Went here last weekend and it was excellent. The staff was super friendly and the girl serving us spoke great English which was nice. It's not fine dining but great food, good portions and very friendly prices. The food also came out pretty quickly which...was fab because we were pretty hungry! I would eat here any day.

Dined here on my own and ordered a normal cheeseburger and a Weiss beer. Unfortunately the beer arrived AFTER the meal, about minutes since ordering. The waitress apologised and said they’d been busy but I watched her serve plenty of people drinks who arrived...after me. The burger came with a sauce/gravy so had to be eaten with a knife and fork. The fries came covered in mayo which is okay if you like it....

the place is in a first-class position with a large outdoor dining area, that is where the positive end! at the beginning we were met with an acidic, unfriendly waitress that pointed out where we should sit! another tool of our order, it then tool. half an hour to get our food, much too long when they have children! I asked about something salt and pepper and was questioned by the waitresses if I really needed it! unnecessary to say it has never arrived! we ordered burger, I guess the German and Dutch eat dog food! it was cruel! masse produced frozen tasteless mash in a sweet sauce drowned! for eating!

I can't believe that the previous reviews, but of course to any one's own opinion. we have been in winter mountain for days and are already here. waiters are friendly, even if the place too times super busy. sit outside his beautiful...Wettlich and also if they only enjoy and have a drink and watch people, I ordered some diff dings like the goulash suppe, I think his called and was really good-cheese burger with the touch of this curry sauce was also really good!. something else we tried was the veggie taler who would be an ingenious opiin for vegetarian - his a veggie burger plus a coliflowet burger with a side or salat and saw with chives I think! I was able to sneak a place outside right next to my bike, which is a huge plus for me. the waitress took my order in fluent English. the entry, baguette with homemade hummus, was delicious. the hummus was well made with a creamy...textur the white wee I had with him, the bachus, was quite tasteful, but had a nice fruity nose and the smallest dazzle on the back. the pornstars, a rump steak was well baked though somewhat too far for me, but the spicy was so amazing that it was for them. had been in the pan too long. no faff, just a great simple court.
