"Ordered breakfasts and a sausage baguette for delivery. Food turned up about minutes after ordered and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. My wife ordered the food and requested that the beans be put in a separate container because I don't...like the bean juice going on the rest of the breakfast. The breakfast was cold, bean and tomato juice all over the other items, the toast was more like warm bread and the tomato juice had soaked into the bread making it completely soggy. I phoned up to complain and the lad on the phone said all I can do is apologise to which i replied you can do more than apologise, you can refund me for the meals A full refund was received. I went on to say the food doesn't look like the photos on the Facebook page and I he said Look I've said we'll refund it Bad attitude. Due to this I decided to post a review on the Facebook page and the owner then replied accusing me of making the food look worse than it was in my photo by moving it around the container which was complete rubbish, I had just moved the poor quality sausages, hash browns and soggy toast into the lid section. I was also accused of having a bad attitude when ordering...complete BS as my wife phoned the order through. I phoned the cafe back to speak to the owner who wasn't there and spoke to the young lad who kept calling me mate and said to me that he doesn't understand why I don't just leave it now as I have received a refund. Very unprofessional The meals were not eaten"

Just had a home delivery from Boo boos. We had a mixed grill which consisted of steak, gammon, a burger, chicken thigh, sausage, black pudding, egg, chips, tomatoes, onion rings, beans and mushrooms. each delivered. Would highly recommend and hit the spot perfectly. Large...portions and tasted lovely. Thank you!

This is the second delivery we've had during lock down and both times we have been happy with both the quality and the service. We order in the morning for a lunch time delivery and our food has always arrived on time. The cheesy chili...and chips is most excellent and I can heartily recommend it if you are hungry (there is a lot of it).

Visited this cafe as one I normally use was full, Thought I would give this one a try. Ordered the set breakfast a min wait It came to my table, shrivelled sausages, cold beans, Bacon like pork scratchings and inedible hash browns, cold toast...the list goes on. Left my plate on the table . Maybe they were having an off day but my advice would be to give this cafe a miss and save your money

Boo Boo's is spot on for classic English cafe grub. Our order for about eight people was delivered locally for free and arrived on the dot. It must be tricky to package up a mix of breakfasts, chillie-con-carne, burgers and sandwiches and have it arrive...looking good and still hot, but they managed it. I had the Boo Boo's premium burger stack with blue cheese and can confirm it was absolutely jummy. Just got to try and keep it secret from the missus now and manage dinner tonight! Having eaten here before the visit today was a stark contrast, it wasn't that busy but several tables were waiting mins for food, the service was brusk and rude I was told it was too much to ask for the mushrooms to be...put on a side plate not the main plate (nothing different in cooking prep just served on a side plate) it felt like the customers were an inconvenience. At almost for two meals and a drink, with that service I won't be going back anytime soon. I understand delays and issues can occur, but the customer service...

In the depths of autumn, when the wind blows true I went to Boo Boos café with my friend. We’ve been to a fair few cafés around Burgess Hill and I must say that Boo Boo is one of the best quality cafés in town....The man at the counter (Boo Boo was friendly and was very keen to make good banter with us. The best banter in town, so far, in any Burgess Hill café. The quality of the food was definitely up there with the best, sausages weren’t over-done and hard, bacon was cooked prime and egg was a perfect soft yolker. Don’t get me started on the hash browns they were very well cooked is all I will say. The decor is unique, lots of thriller/ crime books if you are a fan of these types of things...

"We go to Gravetye 3 or 4 times a year if we can and have been going for many many years over the tenures of several owners. It 's always a complete joy, and the current owner has done a fabulous job of getting the right people in, both inside and out. Tom Coward, the Head Gardener (ex. Dixter) has a vision and a long term plan that make continual visits over an extended period a joy every time we visit we are surprised by the continual changes we learn so much and the garden staff are super helpful and willing to discuss what they 're up to and why. The amazing oval massive kitchen garden that supplies the hotel is a source of wonderment and not to be missed. A visual and culinary feast. We 've never stayed there as we live reasonably close, but have eaten in both the old and new dining rooms many times. The new dining room sits harmoniously between the wings of the manor and although a very modern glass and steel construction, the inclusion of a fabulous antique (and uneven) parquet floor (ex. some french chateau) softens the feel and acoustics, making the room almost intimate. The floor to ceiling windows bring you right into the garden, even in the foulest of weather it 's a triumph of design. Then there 's the food. Apart from the presentation, which is exquisite, the flavours and textures always bring a broad grin, however grumpy I am! This is absolutely first rate British cuisine; the kitchen under Head Chef George Blogg is to be commended, as are the garden staff producing the freshest of produce. I occasionally try to photograph the plates, but invariably find I 've forgotten that rather crass move and have just launched in! Must also mention the front of house staff. Perfectly presented and mannered, they know exactly the boundary between staff and guest and make you feel completely comfortable and relaxed there is nothing stuffy or obsequious about Gravetye everything is pitched just spot on and nothing is too much trouble. We were there today for a birthday treat, but will be back again soon for a post family wedding get together. Cannot recommend too highly just an excellent few hours, whatever the weather. Walkability: Lots of paths. The lower areas are easy for those with limited mobility, however it might be tricky to get up to the kitchen garden if you 're not great on your feet. Food drinks: See my review."
