"Looking for a dinner venue, booked here. I chose the half crispy duck and my wife the calves liver. I chose a small weissbier and we had a carafe of german red wine. Both were pleasant. My wife enjoyed the calves liver with mashed potatoes,...onion rings apple slices and salad. My half crispy duck was served off the bone and was excellent with red cabbage and potatoes and salad. E then shared an apple strudel which was a work of art and very tasty. Service was very good. The menu clearly states that service is a discretionary which we added with pleasure. It's an opportunity that there are so few people so it's easy to get a table in a good restaurant. Also the chefs have time to do a great job"

The food was pretty average, good but not great for the money. We ordered two schnitzel, an entree and two apple strudels. My partner received the entree but not the schnitzel. The waiter was pretty blunt and not overly friendly. The service is less than...average, and yet upon paying the bill the guy was making a big scene about a tip after I’ve said no multiple times and then reluctantly cave in... if you’re after an average meal with less than average service at an expensive price, then this is the place for you! I hope that “service charge” was worth it
