new visit to the capoul for lunch and again we are delighted. menu of the day, reception, service, restaurant atmosphere, top. we will return.

Excellent meal. Great place. nice service. the wrong note does not reflect at all reality. but what are the notes today or cheating is a national sport? I recommend it anyway.

We had some great food in Toulouse and picked this restaurant for our final evening but were very disappointed. The waitress was lovely but the food was not good, very fatty tough entrecôte and over cooked tasteless tuna. Not cheap either, for €21 the quality...of the steak was unacceptable.

Marco was rushed off his feet but he looked after us and the 4 other tables for 2 next to us very well. My oysters were beautiful (why don't the French cut them from their shell? It would make them easier to get at). The...fish fillet was lovely, and my hubby's steak (well done) was cooked very well. Novotel hotel guests get a 10% discount here.

Really appreciated that their menu had “subtitles” in English! We tried the escargot for starters, with a house white wine made in the Pyrenees. Main entrees were duck leg served on a bed of sliced roasted potatoes with parsley, and trout on ratatouille served in...a cuttle fish ink sauce. It all tasted fantastic! Was served hot! Wait staff spoke English and was very polite. Definitely recommend this place!!!!!

We booked to go to this restaurant as we were looking for some french classics , duck and snails as my wife had not tried them.Went early and sat inside away from the smokers, why do they allow smoking were food is served in France..., its like going back to the 70s.Back to the review, the food was fabulous , presentation great flovour tops . Our waiter Marcel was a bit quiet at first but got better as the night went on ,I tried my bad French with the aid of a guide book and ended the night enjoying it immensley.

we have traveled in france and traveled and traveled, and although france has an amazing culinary call, we have experienced non-so-good eating and service at many places. we have booked in the center in the novotel, and for the lightness we have the brasserie. Below (brasserie capoul.) the food was super, the service was so excellent that we went there a second evening. beautiful steaks, brochette, salat, carpaccio and even the house red was so much better than many of the expensive weeps we chose before. So, if they are in novotel, or somewhere near the center of toulouse, this is a really great brasserie with exceptional foods to very cheap trips (two people starter, net, dessert and wein...

Stayed in the hotel above so just a few steps away but would have travelled miles to sit and eat in this beautiful restaurant. We ate once for lunch and twice for dinner, always inside to soak up the decor and ambience. Attentive friendly waiters...and a fantastic menu and wine list. Wines by the glass are around E5 for a local and up to E13 for a Mercury from Burgundy. We were very excited to find a Gaillac rose and red which were just fantastic. E23 for a 2017 Gaillac per bottle. A must try for the discerning red drinker. Family of six visiting Toulouse went out to find a place for dinner on a Monday night, with no idea what we were looking for, after a long day trip in wine country. Sunday and Monday nights have a lot of closures across stores and...restaurants so we were very unsure what we’d find. We happened upon this place and had an excellent time! My husband and I got a cheese plate, escargot, and the best leg of duck I have EVER had. Everyone’s food was delicious. Draught beer selection was small, but purposeful and had great options.
