"I recently dined at Briars Hall with some friends, and it was a fantastic experience. The service was exceptional, and we enjoyed a delicious two-course meal for just £17.99, not including drinks. Truly excellent! Overall, I'd rate the service a 5 out of 5, and the location also deserves a 5 out of 5. The hotel offers a luxurious atmosphere, a peaceful setting, and great value for money. Highly recommended!"

We are a small charity, and they let us have committee meetings in an area of the lounge for free. We only pay if someone wants a drink . Lovely staff and lunch time food is great. (SWLICAN) Service: 5 Location: 5

Place is okay and staff fine. 3 course meal was very basic and the main was the size of a child's meal. There was such a limited choice, soup or orange juice , roast beef dinner or vegetarian lasagne and ice cream or sticky toffee pudding . Very poor. Visualizza piatti

Had my sisters wedding here late July. Beautiful location , the staff couldn't do enough for you , food was absolutely amazing, rooms were lovely and clean. We stayed the night before as the bridal party and even the biscuits tea coffee was replenished the next morning. Fantastic wedding venue and I highly recommend Rooms: 5 Service: 5

I highly recommend this venue for a wedding—it has a wonderful layout, and the team enhances the experience even further. They made me feel so at ease throughout my entire stay. "Expectations not met ... no Sunday lunches on offer was told when we arrived “we haven’t anything left “ this was at 5.45 ?? They had tried to ring us and I checked missed call at 5.40 but Was driving unable to answer phone a bit short notice anyway! Not good really saying it was Sunday and advertised as one of the main options on the daily menu “bad management “ we did order another option and it was nicely presented and very tasty but steak served on a wooden platter Doesn’t work when you order sauce as a side just got messy.. on requesting our bill and ready to pay we was then told they couldn’t take card payments and was taking cash only !!! Why tell you at the end of your meal ? Embarrassing!! nobody carry’s much cash around with them was lucky there was a cash machine across from restaurant.. may I suggest you tell your customers before sitting down . Would I go again Yes I think I would Maybe we just picked the wrong day ."

"the hop vine is one of my favorite places to eat in the opposite and has not dined here for a past. we had the steak ale pie, hunters chicken and for the desert apple pie cheesecake. Why, if one of my favorite places to dine, I give 4 stars....simple... the hope vine has set high standards with our earlier visits and this visit was very good, but not as good as before (now we have shared here haare) as it was very good. I think it was because we enjoyed our desert more than the main course. the personal here is very good and I mean very good and friendly some of the best in the opposite. a wonderful selection of real ales. I wish I could set the star rating to 4.5, but can only set 4 and not fair to set 5 if I know and have experienced the hop vine in his best before. if I were to come back, I would definitely recommend everyone. one of the best pub restaurants in the environment."

"We recently visited the restaurant , a few months after out previous visits . The meal was dreadful . I explained the problem to the waiter who laughed it off and that was the end of it . The bowl was too small for the meal (lamb cutlets) and so the meat was plonked on top of the soggy mash . In order to cut the rather undercooked lamb , you had to submerge the meat in the runny mash to reach the plate where you discovered the veg underneath the slop of mash potatoes. I will not visit this establishment again any time soon as it was a terrible experience ."

"This was our first visit and after looking at the positive reviews we thought we would give it a try. We had an early evening reservation which gave access to the 'happy hour ' menu pricing mains at £8.95 which supplements on certain choices. We had three different choices of Lasagne, Chicken Diane and Sea Bass followed by sticky toffee pudding. All the food was excellent, nicely presented with good portion size. The restaurant was very busy and while we were seated immediately, it was clear some larger parties were having to wait for tables to be cleared. Decoration inside the restaurant is contemporary and classy but the absence of any softer fabrics meant the restaurant was quite noisy. The restaurant also appeared to be geared towards larger parties and the configuration of tables meant that you may be seated quite close to other diners. Overall though, the experience was good, service polite and efficient with ample car parking on site."
