Had Sunday lunch here. Good menu options. Food was great. Lovely atmosphere and service was good.

Amazing food but make sure you are hungry! Best scampi I’ve ever had and the chips are to die for! Pies could feed a family of five and always freshly made. Lovely staff who can’t do enough for you. Can’t wait to go back very soon

Fantastic pub! Great food, friendly staff and extremely accommodating. I arranged a surprise get together for friends and family for lunch here and Martin and his team were extremely helpful. Great place with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Just had a couple of great nights at the Bulls Head in Youlgreave. Only had chips the first night, but what chips!! The second night we all had pie and mash, massive portion sizes and fantastic quality. The host was friendly and the atmosphere was warm. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

table for 8 of us after a walk in the goyt valley. early, but were happy to sit down. fresh, homemade pub food, a good selection and additional specials options also. eating was highest quality. well presented, good portion size, full taste. also child meal went well down. it was the perfect way to end our day in peak district. we will definitely go back.

I have eaten and drunk here many times, and this pub is my “Gate to”, if in the opposite martin the owner is always very friendly and polite. the service is on site, a good selection of craft shops that are important to me. recently I have their cakes and chips (not for the weak hearty) very filling delicious cakes and delicious home made chips! I'm back!

that was honestly the best we ever had..the atmosphere was nice. the service was impeccable and the food was amazing. we will make this trip in the near future, although it is quite far away. the cakes were homemade and beautiful. quality meat and taste. the steak was perfection with a beautiful sauce. great quality hearty pub food. really friendly atmosphere for dogs that was an excellent bonus

we ate on the 1st juni in the bull’s head at the mi. we were a big party so booked before we were visiting. communication via e-mail was excellent and easy. in the night was everything we demanded as it should be. the staff was friendly, eating excellent with a generous portion size. some of the party had steak that was superb and cooked to perfection! we had a nice evening and will definitely come back in the future. many thanks to them all.

I have eaten regularly at The Bull in Youlgreave over the past 4 years and always experienced great food and friendly, and efficient service. Based on this I booked for a large group of family and friends last weekend for a birthday celebration. Most people commented that they were the best pies they had ever eaten, served with a portion of delicious creamy mash or fantastic double cooked chips. Great and very quick service for a large group. Would highly recommend
