"We've eaten at the Plockhaus several times now, whether as a family or as larger groups and everything has always been top. Starting with the food it's absolutely fantastic, no matter what I've eaten so far it's been damn good. The staff is very authentic and attentive and super friendly. The boss is super relaxed even when the shop is packed (that speaks for a great team). It has definitely become one of our favorite places in Giessen. I can really only recommend it. TOP."

I was served a very tasty rib-eye steak with vegetables by an extremely charming waitress. Inviting ambience and high quality make this establishment one of my favorite restaurants in Giessen.

Very tastefully and modernly furnished. The service is extremely friendly and quick. Food was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that the chicken schnitzel was pressed meat. Everything was so upscale and tasty that it didn't really fit into the picture.

I was there yesterday with my wife and child. Even though we didn't have a reservation, the staff was extremely polite and offered us a table. The nice waitress brought my child a booklet to paint on and my daughter was really happy. The owner was very, very friendly. The food: incredibly delicious!!! The fish, the side dishes, simply great We'll definitely be back

I'm in Giessen about once a month......I come from Cologne and have now eaten in this awesome restaurant 3 times. Everything is harmonious there.....excellent staff....very good cuisine....and very good products. This restaurant would also be very well received in Cologne. I'll be back in Giessen tomorrow and hope to get a table there in the next few days!!! For me, Gießen is now associated with this awesome shop... (including testing grappa with the boss)
