the decor was excellent and the waitress was very helpful and treated our needs perfectly. there were more food than we had expected and would appreciate smaller portions at reduced cost. we have enjoyed the experience and are likely to return to the future.

This bar and restaurant never disappoints. Because of its unusual quirky decor it stands out as a special place to visit. Food and staff were great. We’ve had evening meals and afternoon tea’s here and would rate both. It’s a lovely place to get dressed up as these days people tend to be a bit more relaxed in their attire but the Earl allows you to enjoy being dressed up. Even the staff wear formal uniforms. Lovely dining experience and would highly recommend it.

I had an adult afternoon tea that was amazing, the waitresses were very attentive and brought extra drinks when we needed them. the children's afternoon tea was a small adult for my children who are 7 and 5. most desserts were dark chocolate and very bitter. my little boy ate only the sandwiches and marshmallows. my little girl ate my pie options and the berries. I brought the rest home that they didn't touch. they had yogurt and that was mad. I would definitely book again, but order from the lunch menu for my children.
