My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous welcome in this dog friendly cafe. The vegan and vegetarian cooked breakfasts were cooked to perfection and the coffee was delicious. Can highly recommend.

Lovely friendly staff and nice cafe. Unfortunately the pizza was the worst I’d ever had. Almost impossible to cut and tasted of dough. which I have no idea how you achieve) Maybe it was previously frozen. The longer it took to eat it the harder it got. Only ate it as I hadn’t eaten that day. Really sorry guys, but it wasn’t good.

The breakfast was outstanding, and the Devon cream tea was delightful. They offer options for vegans, vegetarians, and those with gluten sensitivities. The owners are thoughtful and attentive to the needs of their customers. The kitchen utensils and cooking equipment are kept separate for non-meat and dairy items. Overall, a great value for money!

We received a really warm welcome at this restaurant. The local food and drinks were delightful and reasonably priced. The kids loved their homemade pizza, while my wife and I enjoyed dishes from the specials menu, including locally sourced scampi and a delicious tart. Honestly, in a town of non veggie venues, this stands out by miles not just for being the only venue that is vegan friendly! The new management who are running the place have launched a full vegan and vegetarian friendly menu that includes fresh salads, sides, mains, breakfasts, etc etc and the loveliest fresh vegan cakes too! Manageress is the loveliest lady you’ll meet and it’s in a nice easy to find spot with a view from the windows. Recommend!!!!

best sandwich ever! I had the speck, brie and cranberry sandwich with painted brot. it was really the best sandwich ever! brie was simply soft enough, speck was simply thick and cooked for perfection. a BIG sandwich, but still so light. chai latte was the best. I think they have too much cinnamon, but was asked to try before. service and people who work here are so friendly and made it really a great experience. I couldn't do enough. they would recommend this place.

If you're a burger enthusiast, you absolutely have to try this place—even if it requires a bit of a journey! While the menu may not be overly creative, the quality of the ingredients and their preparation is unparalleled. The café itself is warm and inviting, with very reasonable prices.
