Had a beautiful evening as Cafe Des, huge portions and delicious drinks, me and a friend had a wonderful time! Amazing service too from Millie and Emma, could not recommend enough

A visit on a Saturday night , very busy (so book in advance) Good service, very good food, the steak we had was exceptional as good as any Hawksmoor,and reasonable pricing.If I'm into nit picking, background music a little noisy,and the tables a bit squeezed in. Despite the restaurant being full to capacity we were looked after really well. It was our work Xmas dinner and they knew exactly who had ordered what The food was absolutely delicious and there are a lovely choice of drinks available. All in all we had the best time. I have been to Cafe des Amis many times and it is always spot on.

A really lovely evening at Cafe de Amis for a birthday treat. Food delicious and cocktails even better! We visited about 4 years ago passing through the area and thoroughly enjoyed then, revisited this evening for a tasty meal out! Service amazing. The manager was really friendly and accommodating when my young son knocked his drink everywhere. Thank you x

This place is very popular, but it's coasting on its popularity, and the quality and value now aren't as good as other nearby places in town. Service is welcoming and quick. Food plentiful and OK but not great. Seating is compact to the point of overcrowding, which makes it very noisy, and the open kitchen means that the cooking smells are unpleasantly overpowering. Visited for the first time and what a beautiful meal we had. It was so so good. Pulled lamb shoulder fajita for main with all the sides so you can make it yourself which visually looked stunning and tasted delicious. The deserts were so tasty as well and the presentation was faultless! Myself and my partner ate everything. We didn’t pre book but we was still accommodated and staff were very pleasant and friendly. Thankyou café des Amis for a lovely meal and evening. Will definitely be returning

Had an excellent meal in Cafe Des Amis Friday evening. Upon entry you get the cosy, positively busy atmosphere. The selection of drinks is what brings this down to 4 stars. There isn’t a wide variety of spirits, only tequila or gin. Never the less the meal was super tasty and the amount of time between courses was perfect. Our waitress was really friendly and looked after us well for the duration. I am so glad we found this hidden gem, this really was a great meal in a great location. Would highly recommend.

We pre-booked and visited the Canterbury Restaurant last weekend with family. i was blown away by the service of Maddie, she couldn 't do enough to help even though they were at full capacity..I shared steak Fajita and and my Son had steak meal. i did like the service, it was very quick but not rushed and really enjoyed the food quality, flavour and taste, plus drink.. i had Modello beer and really liked the taste of this, so much i am looking for it online to buy more for at home lol.... we will be back again and soon and highly recommend to anyone thinking of going here Visualizza piatti
