"Last time we were in Grandcamp Maisy we were a little disappointed with the restaurant we used so, on this occasion, we thought we would try the Cafe du Port for a Moules Frites lunch before returning to Cherbourg for our boat home. We were...not disappointed. The cafe is just that, rather than a restaurant, but in the tradition of good French cafes, the food was very nicely prepared and delicious. There were tables outside under a nice shady awning (very necessary with the temperature at about 29 degrees! with a view looking out over the harbour. The only moules dish on the menu was Moules a la Creme with Frites, and that suited us just fine. The mussels were plump, cooked just right and plentiful and the sauce was good enough to finish off with a spoon at the end. The frites were thin, crunchy and also beautifully cooked. We washed it all down with a very nice bottle of farm produced local cider. Unfortunately they do not do crepes, which would have been our favourite for dessert, but I had a very nice Tarte aux Pommes while my wife had a coffee. All in all, a very nice way to spend our last lunchtime in France before returning to the UK."

a beautiful little place that is great for a drink and the boats to see and go. the staff is also very friendly and very friendly for children!

Quick service. Not a particularly nice area but the food looked good and it was clean. Worth a stop if you are hungry or thirsty on a drive between museums.

Excellent place for lunch!!!! The mussels are outstanding. Tiny place but fantastic value...one of the best meals/values we had in 2 weeks in France. Our awesome guide, Francois, took us there!

sitting outside in the sunshine, which looks over the harbour. no good food, just a good honest farewell. fish excellent and very fresh. service of our waitress par excellence as they say. Very good. very pleasant hour.

Nice little place in Grandcamp-Maisy France that we stopped off at after driving around Normandy. Good cold beer! We didn't eat so I'm not giving them 5 stars and they didn't have anyone to come out and take our order. Everyone had to go in...and get their own....

my wife and I thought here almost daily during our vacation as a coffee or a beer. the personal is multilingual and the service is brilliant. Eating and drinking are first class and it is a great place to sit outside and watch the activity. in the harbour just a few meters away.

this place serves perfect fresh fish/ mustels. its position at the harbour is perfect. owners and dear girls serving were both helpful and very friendly. we speak French, but they speak English. they are so busy, so sit...relax in the beautiful position and atmosphere. You think they stop serving 2 o'clock. merci beau coupe. tres tres bien.

On a small tour of the Normandy beaches, our guide brought us to this waterside restaurant. It appeared to be more of a fast food joint, but were we surprised. It is an excellent place for great local seafood at a reasonable price (something that...is almost impossible to find in France). From fish chips to chowder, everything our group of 6 had was excellent.
